Something that I absolutely love about "Credits Song for my Death" is that while on the surface it's incredibly dark and reflective of the miasma of hopelessness that many feel today, people on the Internet have taken it and turned it into and anthem to the Indomitable Human Spirit with tracks like "Resurrection" and "Last Stand".
This is the song that plays when the MC finds out his friends weren’t real and the girl he “saved” has been dead. He’s been carrying around her corpse this entire time.
the journey of death although happening under minutes can feel like years when one struggles, so struggle on and maybe you'll get some early revenge, or maybe, a second chance at redemption
(1 of 2) I could see these songs going well with the way you play, almost like Undertale, if you play casually you would make your final battle worthwhile, if you spare even the ones that hate you; you would be resurrected to fulfill your purpose, if you fail your final battle you would skip the credits due to the greif you feel after a long fought battle but still end up losing, you could even go for a genocide route and turn into the very thing you fought, even before you were about to die, you would be comsumed by the very thing you swore to destroy, only to continue the loop of defeating yourself, or....you fail....you get back up....but you fall harder than before, you can't get back up, you think to yourself you will never make it, as you try and try again, but there is no luck for you, after the path you chose, the one "more sadder", you will never be able to defeat the darkness.... or... ....Can you?

The hero is no longer the hero... *He is here for revenge and will do whatever it takes to get it* stage 6 Even after all he did he still lost without being able to get his revenge. The "hero?" gave up in the end, wandering in the abyss after his death aimlessly. with only grief of his inability to get his revenge coursing through him.
thats fairly close to the same Idea I had going into this, albeit the world dosen't really have set "hero's" and "villians" I like to look at it as a struggle between someone's thoughts. but that would make for an amazing story. I love that people are so creative when it comes to this type of stuff.

I like to imagine that those songs are boss fights wich repeats, where you can't fight and you must survive till the end of the music, getting harder and harder each time, until you finally fight back and reach the end of the cycle. Then credit rolls and it's a remix of this very music.

I think one of the greatest qualities of songs like these are their re-used meanings, songs like “Credits For My Death” and “Paranoia” especially have had their song meanings changed from Udder terror and hopelessness intertwined by pain and agony, from this combination of hopefulness, ‘Last Stands’ never giving up, and just this empowering feeling of absolute adrenaline rush to save yourself, or if this it, IT IS YOUR FINAL DUTY TO DO AS MUCH DAMAGE AS POSSIBLE! That, is the wonder of songs like these, they make you feel hopeless, but then they make you feel like you can do anything, beat and unbeatable target. These songs will make you feel absolutely hopeless, then in one moment, it will lift you up to make sure you neutralize that threat. And that is the udder beauty of these songs, and the creator of this one did one hell of an amazing job captivating the entire journey of this. Of course, the people who made these songs did better, because they also managed to capture the pure feeling of pain, then absolute energy. I cannot explain further how good these songs are.

I know it's pretty late to coment, but when i hear these, i feel that all the huge problems that i create are just things from my mind, and that my objetctives should not be aiming too far. They help me to overcome anxiety and think of ways to achieve my goals and dreams, showing the bad and rough moments i will have to pass through, but showing the capacity of overcoming these too.

It’s like your the protagonist defeating the final boss but what you don’t realize is that the final boss was the previous protagonist and the previous one defeated the other previous one. You either die a great hero, or you live on to be what you hated. Either way it’s an cycle 🥶😤🙈

I like to imagine that those songs are boss fights wich repeats, where you can't fight and you must survive till the end of the music, getting harder and harder each time, until you finally fight back and reach the end of the cycle. Then credit rolls and it's a remix of this very music.

I think one of the greatest qualities of songs like these are their re-used meanings, songs like “Credits For My Death” and “Paranoia” especially have had their song meanings changed from Udder terror and hopelessness intertwined by pain and agony, from this combination of hopefulness, ‘Last Stands’ never giving up, and just this empowering feeling of absolute adrenaline rush to save yourself, or if this it, IT IS YOUR FINAL DUTY TO DO AS MUCH DAMAGE AS POSSIBLE! That, is the wonder of songs like these, they make you feel hopeless, but then they make you feel like you can do anything, beat and unbeatable target. These songs will make you feel absolutely hopeless, then in one moment, it will lift you up to make sure you neutralize that threat. And that is the udder beauty of these songs, and the creator of this one did one hell of an amazing job captivating the entire journey of this. Of course, the people who made these songs did better, because they also managed to capture the pure feeling of pain, then absolute energy. I cannot explain further how good these songs are.

I know it's pretty late to coment, but when i hear these, i feel that all the huge problems that i create are just things from my mind, and that my objetctives should not be aiming too far.
They help me to overcome anxiety and think of ways to achieve my goals and dreams, showing the bad and rough moments i will have to pass through, but showing the capacity of overcoming these too.
