PErsonally I play in CN, and the dub there is great too. I think part of it comes from having played their characters for many years, CN Mei really sells how the curry scene completely breaks her.

Noel is one of the saddest vtuber I ever watched. This poor girl's tear glands doesn't know how to stop. And her reactions is so contagious, like when she starts crying I found myself on tears too. If she is my friend maybe everytime we met we'll be having crying session for every sad story we tell.
I think the point is, that it's nice to see someone really connected with the story, characters, etc. really immersed and feel the story, beyond just simply understanding what's going on, compare to someone who's just passing along through the story with out much acknowledgement on it, and to be fair even on that last front, I've seen some who arent great at keeping along with the story lol

The reason why they fought each other is because mei wants to help kiana and preventing from using her power since kiana has only one month to live after she got affected from the nuclear core during the incident at the Arc city. If kiana is so insist to keep using her power she will die that is why mei has no other choice but to join the world serpent and its the only way for Kevin kaslana to help kiana's state condition to get back on her normal life. Imagine, kiana's been the one to shoulder the burden pain all by herself which makes mei worried, we know that kiana wants to finish it once and for all but that doesn't makes her a better valkerie if she doesn't let other valkerie to take care the rest of the mission.
Removing the gem of thunder was the way for the corruption to slow down and that is achieved when waking up as HoT, but was it really necessary to go with Kevin? Her excuse is that she would fight instead of Kiana and that's why she abandons her, but now let's remember what happens with HoS. Fu Ha does exactly the same as Kiana, self-sacrifice since it is her mission, but Kiana responds in an honorable way by staying by her side to help her when necessary and not have to carry everything herself. The good intention is present but it was not the best way to act on Mei's part.

The jp va in this cutscene is amazing, it shows the pain of Mei and Kiana together, further causing Noel to break down.

Sirin the original herrscher of void has 5 herrscher core void,haste, thunder, death,serenity(I Don't know how to spell it)and she actually stole herrscher of reason core from welt so I guess 6 but she suck at using herrscher of reason power well she loser and welt have it back so the reason of benares try to save Mei is because Mei has power of herrscher of thunder "why you think that the reason" well benares is a honkai there no way she will try to save a human so the only reason that make sense why benares save mei is because of her herrscher power
