Great result. The effect from using the 3 different greens is subtle but adds alot of interest to the camo net. The netting looks great with the tarps below it.
Very good tutorial. Dry brushing at the end with the faded green was, to me, absolutely essential to make the netting really stand out and to give it depth. Fine job!
The tank looks amazing!! Like every project of yours! Thanks to you I love Mondays 😄 but the crew can't get in or out of the tank! All hatches and openings are covered with tarpaulins and equipment!
Thank you very much! And Im really happy that thanks to my work you love Mondays! Please join my Patreon if you can to have more lucjy days! And the crew is out - the Jagdtiger is in "stand by" status and it's close to the end of the war so they want beer more than dying for fuhrer :)
I enjoyed this process and have the perfect paper panzer project ready for its application. So I'm off to raid the medicine cabinet firstly for th e dressing and to clear some space for the Laffy - a win win you could say! Thank you Demon, see you on the next one. Dave.
Thanks for sharing the modeling tips. What is the better time to build camo net on the tank, including depolying and painting the camo net? Is it better before or after painting and weathering the tank model? Thanks
Heres a good brand I found on Amazon that has a netting like make up, I haven't painted it yet but it should work. Covidien 1806 Curity Gauze Sponge, Sterile 2's in Peel-Back Package, 2" x 2", 8-ply (Pack of 100)
Excellent video and ideas, thank you. Is there a certain brand of guaze that you used? I did the same and the weeve was a little looser than what you are using.
Very nice tutorial, thank you very much. I was thinking about this possibility but regarding it's suitability for 1/72 models, which I do mostly. What do you think? Anyhow, it was impressive to see how you painted the net. Great! 😁👍🏻 Thank you.
@@TiberiusMaximus mate, I have the cotton and falls aprart but the trick is that you need to soak it in white glue diluted with water to keep it in one piece. Of course it wont be hard and some strings will go off but it helps. :)
Nothing. It doesnt stick to the surface during painting. After placing on the model I soaked it with white glue and water to glue it to the surface. :)
this is how you make modern art! now i don't know about history of these things but did germans use pieces of rug woven into the net here and there, something like a hessian for ex? anyway, looking lovely as it is, and no i am not interested in the giveaway btw, cheers.
I'm not sure if it's be good and from what I've looked on the internet, it probably isn't. My gauze is a Polish product, which is probably produced in other countries under a similar name - gauze bandage. Ask in a pharmacy and possibly show my video to the seller, then she/he should help. :)
COLDEMONSpl good video thanks for the tips with the netting, i will be sure to give it a try. This jagtiger build has inspired me to build one for a mate who loves jagdtigers.
Oh please…how can the crew can realistically get in AND OUT of that tank with all the hatches covered and blocked like that? You think you’ve discovered the wheel while in fact you’re just doing what the likes of F.Verlinden did when your parents weren’t even born yet!
Did I say anywhere in the video that the vehicle represents the vehicle in operational time? Or maybe this is what it would look like while stationary and out of combat? Has this occurred to you? I don't think so. I'm not reinventing the wheel, I'm not even trying. And my parents were already alive when Verlinden made his models. Think carefully about what you write because you won't always find someone who will respond to your weak taunts in nice words.
Thanks for these shorter tips and tricks videos too coldemonspl. I have used this technic before and it gives very good results. Hopefully more good tips coming 👍

Is it better before or after painting and weathering the tank model?
Thanks
In my opinion, that's when it's best for you to work with it. I put painted mesh on the model but before weathering :)
Hi COLDBEMONSpl, excellent idea on the netting! Might just haveto try that on a kit I'll be building.
It's easy! :)
Great work Great vid........... 👍👍

Thx mate. I use different brands and they are all the same IMO. The weeve is easy to strech so the way you will present it depends on your needs :)

Thx for your comment! It will be hard to find something good for 72nd scale. I have no idea what can be used for this. Hard task. :)
@@coldemonspl :) well, yes, hard task. Thank you very much.
swietny !
PS z czego zrobiłeś "szmaty" ? kawałki "tkaniny" ??
Hej! Wszystko powinnop być w filmie :) Oglądałes cały? :)
Did you thinned down your wood glue?
Yes, I did a bit with tap water :)
Very nice work. Can I use just PVA glue with water and acrylic paints? Thx I will try to make net :). Thx.
Yes, you can. It works the same :)
@@coldemonspl thx i will try it :)
WHAT brand are u using bc the stuff I got falls apart when stretched, I need a good brand
I dont understand. For what are you asking? :)
@@coldemonspl the gauze, the stuff i got is cotton and when you stretch it, it falls apart

What’s underneath the camouflage net to keep it from sticking
Nothing. It doesnt stick to the surface during painting. After placing on the model I soaked it with white glue and water to glue it to the surface. :)
@@coldemonspl oh, okay thanks. I’ve never done that. But now I’ll give it a shot
Have to say coldemonspl any crew I had put camo netting around intakes and exhausts would be sent to the Eastern Front and told don't look back!
Well, try to imagine that there is no crew and the vehicle is on "stand-by" status. Good explanation? I don't always make models ready for battle. :)
@@coldemonspl Fair enough
What paint shaker is that?
Quitre noisy stuff from alliexpress :)

Tap water :)
Super 👍😃

Would muslin gauze work? Can you name the product brand you using?

:)
complimenti ma vorrei capire il tipo di rete che hai usato , è una garza sterile, ma la grana?
Yes, it is gauze, the cheapest in the pharmacy :)
@@coldemonspl grazie ma che grandezza, ci sono diversi tipi 10x10, 18x10 ecc tu cosa hai usato?
The packaging said 1m2, which is quite large. but in general, size is not important because you have to cut to fit a specific vehicle anyway :)
