  • SUVs, most notably 3-row SUVs have taken over the duties of the family vehicle. With their large cargo capacities and seating for 6 or more, SUVs do all that we demand of them.
Buick, General Motors’ mid-level luxury brand, brings a refreshed Enclave to market with updated styling and technology for the 2022 model year. With new front and rear styling, LED lighting, and new standard features like Head Up Display the 2022 Buick Enclave looks to be an appealing upgrade.
Get this big SUV out on the road and you will see its real strength. The ride of the 2022 Enclave is so good it is a shame the marketing team didn’t use the name Roadmaster from Buick’s storied history. With a ride that was smooth and shudder free without being floaty like a boat, the Enclave would make the perfect road trip rig for any family lucky enough to have one.

I applaud Buick’s decision to install a manual sunshade mechanism. The power sunshades just break eventually and create an expensive repair. Not all car parts should be powered, just because they can. Buick owners may not all be “old,” but I believe many of them are “more mature” and they appreciate function and reliability over the novelty of having the latest wiz-bang gizmo! This won’t be their first car with a sunroof. If they’ve ever had to pay to fix a broken electric sunshade, they won’t mind closing this one by hand-even the one in the back seat!

i agree,i want luxury i cant see but feel, such as all the safety tech built in as well as luxurious ride and composure, elegance and supreme quiet. at 70 i am not a techie and dont need the loudest crispest sound system to hear the news,i dont carve corners, this is not a BMW,it is an elegant tourer. and buick goes back around 120 yrs or so.

I agree with you, the display could be bigger, but Buick has established itself as the “conservative” American car brand. Cadillac is no longer marketing to older people. The Buicks of the 90’s and even 2000’s had levers and knobs with appearance and function dating back to the 70’s to make older customers feel familiar and comfortable. This 8-inch screen is just enough to achieve function without the size becoming out of proportion with the rest of the nicely styled dash. Most older people will use the knobs below! As a I get older I’m glad someone still cares about me as a buyer.

@@GenXtra65 well I’m getting older to (50) I really like the Buick except this part I’m waiting to see how the 2024 look and compare to other comparable vehicles , if the screen isn’t any bigger I’ll probably go with Lincoln Aviator.
