I have 18 yr old granddaughter who is a college student and if some guy did to her what Aaron did I’d expect her to do the same as Amy filing a complaint and making it public knowledge to uphold her rights in every way

Innit exactly what I thought they could have done this with another character besides Aaron who’s a good guy and they should have made into something similar to David’s storyline which I think was done perfectly.

Unless you've survived S.A/abuse etc or you've seen a loved one struggle to cope with it, you cant comment on the 'right' way to deal with it. Truth be told there is no right way. You do what you can to live with it, but it stays with you forever... My mother was r@ped by a family friend in the early 80s when she was 16. Even now at 57 she still gets triggered by storylines like this. No matter how much time passes, you never really get over it.
I do not blame her one iota for how she wants to handle it. She just wants to be heard, believed, to get some form of justice and for him to suffer humiliation like shes had to.

@@cherrytraveller5915 that just proves what I just said, it's hard to tell if Aaron raped her or not. Aaron did took off Amy's panties but it doesn't show what happened after that; did Aaron raped Amy or did he passed out after he took off Amy's underwear?
She didn't know what happened at first because she was unconscious. Aaron then told her that he slept with her and has never gone back on this story. He has just insisted that it was consensual but he clearly has a very warped idea of consent. Amy fell asleep, so there is no way she could have consented, so therefore its rape. Also, your comment seems a little strange, because if you saw the episode in question, you would already know all this.

kissing and taking your clothes off is not consent, and consent can be withdrawn at any time. as you mentioned, she was drunk. which implies she’s not in a state of mind to be consenting to something anyways.

@@KatBlack07 he still crossed a line that should never be broken, she passed out drunk and could not give any form of consent, yes he drunk but could/should off stop when Amy wasn't giving any response, that by any defanition is RAPE.
