Is it weird to say that everything within the first minute of this video is my favorite part of the opening? Two foreign ships of unknown but decimating power approach the Earth, our home, to exterminate the species of vermin called humanity. The foreboding and haunting absence of music reminds you of the emptiness of space, whose darkness engulfs an artifact of the soon to be extinct beings of Earth. It's as if you're experiencing the last minute before staring death in the eye, before feeling your flesh succumb and decay to the burns induced by the radioactive explosions on earth, before losing bits of your body to projectile beams from alien species, before hearing the shrilling screams of citizens and children with widened eyes and hanging mouths as they stare right into and being engulfed by their demise, at the hands of those who cannot be touched by anyone. And people say Nintendo's for kids, when in fact, their kickass developers are making awesome cutscenes. Seriously, this is beginning to be up there with Earthbound's final battle in terms of unsettling atmosphere.
Really, I found it to not flow well initially, so I corrected it now! However, thanks bro! Xenoblade is my favorite game, and I cannot wait to play X.
MeekMeek93 Same here. This video makes me want to learn Japanese so I won't have to wait so long. Fire Emblem Awakening took 10 months to release, and that game doesn't compare in size to either of the XB games.
SkaiCyan destiny when it first been revealed i thought it's going to be like this but after have been release well............................................................
saw tun So disappointing. It's an incomplete Halo with less content and a more boring story that's told even worse. That's saying something considering how poorly they tell Halo's story, at least it's actually good when told though.
Richard Lauer I believe it's the Pioneer Plaque. Google it, but it's basically a thing we made in real life and sent out on a spaceship, describing Earth and humanity. Widely regarded by science fiction writers as a bad idea.
thank you
The earth was destroyed... Nintendo everybody.
3:00 the moon don't care
2:01 Like if you see the Triforce :D

MunroM84
They already had XB3D localized before the project even started, so I don't think that's a good comparison.
Un-FREAKING-real!!!!!!
This game is essentially Japanese Destiny, it's shaping up to be a hell of a lot better though.

+SkaiCyan #GrandDestinyAwaits until December 4th.
That piece of scrap floating in space right at the start has my interest. I wonder if it's anything significant (given the inscription)?

So it is! Thanks for the pointer.
Um... There is no sound in space...
This is so overused, but the hype is real!
I need a job.
Drage Nico Until Mech-pilot is officially recognized as a Job, I don't.
