1:17 “What, you’re making some wise cracks in a nightclub?” 💀💀😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣
That was so a Larry David question.
Yep.
George Constanza is my favorite TV character ever, acted by the best actor you could find
My god Jerry is a terrible actor
Jerry Seinfeld said it took about three seconds of watching Jason Alexander's audition tape to know he was the one to play George. Ironically, Alexander figured he wasn't going to get the role when he heard Larry Miller, one of Seinfeld's best friends, was also in the running for the part.
@@thomasandersen6719 I think that was the point. He’s playing himself, kinda hard for him to be script himself. I think he was perfect for this. I’m shocked that Jason Alexander never won an Emmy for playing George.
Then how come he never won an Emmy on this show?
@@walterwhite1 because he never became heisenberg.
I'd love to be a civil war buff. _What do you have to do to become a buff?_
I love these Seinfeldisms
🤣🤣🤣
Biff wants to be a buff lol

In all fairness, Keith Hernandez seems like a decent guy to go have a beer with
Looks a bit noncey
True
And he's got that black, black hair.
Or just a cup of coffee.
If he buys
Just finished watching his jersey getting retired at Citi. Big congrats to Keith.
I was at that game too yesterday!
@@isabel.mercedes glad you went to see that win we had, but unfortunately I couldn't go, tickets went high, but going back in September for early Postseason hope to find me there.
took that long?
He’s Keith Hernandez, you’re Jerry Seinfeld.
George then goes on to compare himself to Ted Danson
Hahaha
2:20 Jerry's face kills me
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Or 1:52 even better.
😂 I know
2:02 is really it
You can tell he almost broke character 😂
Jerry's face when George asks that question....
Nice game pretty boy.

You forgot the comma. Makes no sense without it.
Newman!
@@ZooomaCW maybe he doesn't use his commas as haphazardly as you do
Keith Hernandez won the NL MVP in 1979 the year I was born plus he helped my ST Louis Cardinals won the World series in 1982 until we traded him in 1985
Ah, that was a great series, great ending with Bruce Sutter's strikeout.
Rest was history for us Julian.
Thanks Whitey...
The look on Jerry's face when George mentions plane crashes... LOL
And doubles and triple down.
The obliviousness was epic
George is so annoying. I love him 🤣🤣
I can have Keith Hernandez here within the hour !
Keith is a great actor!
And the Yankees hired George? Lol
well to be fair his boss is a nutcase.
They hired the Opposite of George
literally as assistant TRAVEL secretary lmao
Maybe they thought there was a chance George would be on the plane that crashed, and it was a net benefit to humanity?
1:55 Funniest question ever. XD
Tribot 968 best and WORST!!
It's an interesting question. Keith and Jerry are a couple of wusses
Haha, Jerry's look @2:29:"Man, shut the f--k up!!!"

@@codythegreat21 hahaha more like "why are you talking about death?!??!"
Truly one of those moments Jerry regrets being friends with him.
This bit is freaking hilarious! 🤣🤣🤣
"I'd love to be a civil war buff"
Such a seemingly dull line but the delivery is hilarious 😂😂
This was the first Seinfeld episode I ever watched. I was hooked.
"Who's this chucker?"
George is right. What he predicted happened in 2016 to Brazil's Chapecoense soccer team.
yup more exposure increases the probability.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lokomotiv_Yaroslavl_plane_crash
Benzene! In class, we have talled about you extensively.
No, he was wrong. It never happened and never WILL happen to any Major League baseball team, because the Illuminati owns them all, and they control this world, deciding what plane crashes and what plane won't.
There's been a few incidents like that in South America, especially in the international club tournaments it's because of the massive distances, and there are far more than 26 teams depending on what part of the tournament.
Hands down the greatest episode of probably the greatest sitcom ever. I watched this when it aired back in 1992 and was laughing hysterically. All I could think was "Who writes this stuff?" The Zapruder film and JFK references, the unemployment fraud, Vandalay Industries, the bromance moving too fast ... just mindblowing material. It was clearly beyond Jerry's observational humor. Years later I learned about Larry David.
Some of Jerry's vest facial expressions right there
keith herandez is my favorite 1st baseman i love the mets
Fortunately, Keith's best years were with my team, the St. Louis Cardinals.
Me too!!!
So BIff wants to be a Buff.
Back years ago I thought Kramer the oddball neighbour really made the show tick. No, it is George Castanza ! Hilarious. In real life once his son grew up, he watched a few episodes of Seinfeld, and came back to Jason Alexander and exclaimed, The part you played, was of "an asshole". NO kidding !
Strongly agreed, Kramer is kind of funny but Goerge is just straight up hilarious
No one character makes the show tick, they all compliment each other perfectly
I love George. I don't hate Kramer, but Michael Richards always has rubbed me the wrong way. So does his character Kramer. Maybe it's the fact that he comes off as a sellout who defected to "Mad About You."
it did happen with a soccer team here in Brazil. Almost a whole team wiped out when their plane crashed. i think one person survived
3 surviving players though only 1 made a full recovery
In the 50s the Manchester United team too... I think.
Did Keith call him a chucker?
He called him a chuck, as in a jokester, as in someone who fools around.
Yes. He called him a chucker because he never passes the basketball and just throws it up.
@@Deadlyaztec27 he was referring to how George doesn't pass the ball and "chucks" the ball at the goal the moment he gets it.
Ooh so that the original expression, from some reason in the Latin American dub they called him a Kamikaze
1:18 though
Was just watching an interview with Larry David who mentions this as his favorite Seinfeld episode.
“Mine too!” 👋😃
Friends lifted this idea from Seinfeld for their plotline with the guys fangirling over Richard. Just like they lifted 50% of their ideas and plotlines from Seinfeld too.
Don't forget when George was fangirling over Elaine's cool boyfriend too. I can't say for certainty if Seinfeld berthed that concept but they've at least done it here, twice
@@azzurriblue65 you should hear how he talks to waitresses he gets free pie 😂
I notice a few skits they borrowed form Seinfeld
I liked both shows, but you're right. The most blatant one I remember was the episode Friends did about Joey's "man's bag" after a Seinfeld episode with EXACTLY the same joke, with Jerry's "European" bag that everyone was calling a purse. (It wasn't even that long afterwards, maybe even the same season!)
As a Manchester United fan that question reminded me of the Munich air disaster
See that man with the umbrella... resembles that famous scene sin Dallas in that day.
Keith looks like Freddie Mercury. lol
Yeah, 'cuz all men with mustaches look like Freddie Mercury. Brilliant observation. They look nothing alike. And drop the "lol" -- you're not laughing, you didn't say anything funny, and no one's laughing with you, only at you,

George, coming out of left field!
Great scene. I didn't know he was a real baseball player.
@johnnydelbravo Also won eleven consecutive Gold Gloves.
this show has a good number of Yankee baseball players in their episodes.

Keith Hernandez's best years were with my favorite team, the St. Louis Cardinals.
Powerranger6342 yep. I remember him destroying the Mets when he was with Cards
We love him in NY, too. Plus, he calls all the Mets games, so we get to see him every night. Great baseball analyst, and hilariously funny too.
He was awesome!
True that his 2 very best seasons were with the Cardinals, but 6 of his 8 best years were with the Mets.
1:54-2:30 I think George is jealous that Jerry is being friends with Keith
Indeed.
No shit, Sherlock.
You don’t say?
Still what kind of question is THAT? Hahaha
How is it there’s not a plane crash? Lmao
Keith is really in touch with his feminine side.
ive wondered that to, all i can figure is sports teams must have really good airplanes and mechanics
Actually, as much is evidence of just how unlikely it is that any of us die in a plane crash.
When you think about it. There has been plenty of famous people that have died in a plane crash. Lynyrd skynyrd, JFK jr. John Denver, Kobe Bryant, Roy Halladay, An entire Russian Hockey team, Buddy Holly, Roberto Clemente, Marshall Football team. Could go on and on and on.........Utah Jazz had to make an emergency landing the other day due to a bird strike. The Ford motor company produces over 6 million cars and trucks annually. American airline has around 800 planes in its fleet. So saying flying is statistically the safest way to travel is dumb. People Drive every single day. But only Fly once in a while for vacations and such. So strictly by the numbers of course air travel is the “safest” (but not really)
@@kevinfinnerty8414 Most all of those were people flying in private propellar planes which are way less safe than the commercial jet planes flown by professional sports teams. Especially when being flown by amateur pilots which JFK Jr + Roy Halladay certainly were. The Russian Hockey Team not only was ordered to take off in an ice storm, they made the even riskier decision of flying in a plane that was built in...(wait for it)....Russia.
Keith hernandez greatest defensive first basemen of all time ! Not debatable!! Nobody played 1st like Keith..
Man, Aaron Judge never works out in my health club.
What is "kon" on the locker room?
Cofey was here
Cool
Hey Keith
"I'm Keith Hernandez"
HAHAHAHA, I have actually thought about the plane crash with all the flying around they do... That being said, kudos to the funniest guy in the world - Larry David. So glad Curb Your Enthusiasm is back on with new episodes....
Who does he think he is?

Who's here after the jazz flight?
To be fair, I know Jerry Seinfeld... I didnt know Keith
yeah, jerry seinfeld is way more famous than keith hernandez.
I hated Keith Hernandez until I found out it was actually McDowell who spit.
I know Keith Hernandez and can prove it.
AHOY SAILORS
Imagine if terrorists with boxcutters tried to fly a baseball team into a building. It'd be breakfast for the team.
wow... here in 2021... i have Absolutely no idea who Keith Hernandez was/is but I definitely know the comedian Jerry Seinfeld.
Actually a hockey team died in a plane crash.
@Kevin Finnerty
Kobe Bryant died in a helicopter crash
Who's this chuck? hhahahahaha >George
9 chuckers.
It's true what they say about pro athletes 😮
Is George always this annoying and jealous?
Not always but he could be. That’s why you didn’t pity him too much.
@@williamhenning4700 Why would I pity him?
@@LoveableScarlet Eh, I'd say that you can partially see how his circumstances might have shaped his outlook on life. At least, imo.
@@williamhenning4700 Ah I see
I don't know, Keith was acting really gay in this scene lol.
That's the theme in this episode. Guys relationships. They feminized it a bit

he was a bit stiff in this scene, I think he did better in subsequent scenes though.
