DESCRIPTION: If things pan out the way I think they will, this will be my last Modern Warfare 2019 video. I didn’t have time to make a “Goodbye, Modern Warfare 2019” video because we moved back in 2020, but 3 years later, and especially since the next COD game is Modern Warfare II, I wanted to say goodbye to this game. A Call of Duty game that actually had a ton of incredible attention to detail, graphical improvements and a return to the glory days of Modern Warfare style games. Sadly, Modern Warfare fell flat over time, and I believe the success of Warzone along with not getting enough quality updates that could vastly improve the game lead to it’s demise…

3 years later and I’m finally saying goodbye to Modern Warfare 2019. This is the game that began the path to more fair DLC, attention to detail and actual innovations, but Warzone eclipsed the game and robbed it of it’s identity along with Cold War and Vanguard...

MW2019 never lost my attention. Honestly it’s one of my top favorites if not my favorite. I just love it so much and I don’t know why. Just feels good.
Yep, the movement is still unprecedented. MW2's movement is a huge step backward from MW19's in my mind. It feels less fluid and has less of a learning curve.

Unpopular opinion but MW2019 is my fav COD. I've been playing since COD4 2007 so this says a lot. Despite its flaws, MW2019 revived COD for me personally.

I was gonna say, unpopular opinion but I actually didn't like it all too much. A lot was just lack of customization (not talking about guns, they had almost too much)/ bloated emblems and especially calling cards. Otherwise the movement felt like it contributed to an ultra sweat level. Maybe it was the graphics being a little too detailed for me though. Also the bundles were absolutely bullshit, reaching upwards and maybe more of $24. I had hoped for memorable players, emblems, calling cards, and weapon skins but boy did it feel overdone and underdone at the same time. Conflicting and bloated to the point nothing truly felt memorable. Ofc there's gold, demascus ext. but man it just felt odd.

I agree with Call of Duty MW 2019 being robbed of its own identity. When I replayed the campaign in preparation for MW2, the end credits even says Call of Duty WARZONE in all caps with modern warfare being on the bottom which I thought was crazy in itself
I loved Verdansk when it was first released for MW2019
This game was the first game I've ever gotten a mastery camo in and wow.. it's already been 3 years since it came out. The game was such a massive step forward in what content it allows future games to present with.
The game I feel is always going to be known as the game that really set a high bar for content and gameplay.
Man, MW 2109 was the last time I really sunk my teeth into a cod.
I never played mp on release, but i binged on warzone as it came out, it just blown my mind how crispy, snappy, fresh, immersive and realistic in a fun way a game could be. I still feel like this game was a miracle we never asked and deserved, but needed so much. It happened once, and it will never repeat like that. I deeply fell in love with this game on personal level. Damn
This was an awesome game! One of my favorite newer gen cods forsure and I had tons of fun playing solo/ with friends
The most depressing fact about Warzone is that it took focus away from the projects players wanted to buy, only to turn out worse on it's own platform to be saved by being F2P.
Players complained about Black Ops 3 because of supply drops when in reality you could earn everything for free, especially weapons back when they offered free bribe contracts to go for.
From January to August of 2018 I was able to get all but one weapon due to casually playing the game and occasionally being offered a bribe to grind towards before coming back years later and getting it in a matter of days.
Compare this to Warzone where it takes over $2000 to get only a third of the items available with no other options of earning them and having many that will never be used.
I disagree. Yes, the focus was significantly shifted from MW to WZ. But the base MP maps were mostly unique and not ripped from WZ. Yes, they could’ve given more resources to MP if WZ wasn’t a thing. But it’s not like they didn’t give MP love. MP got plenty of love and a few great DLC maps. If I remember correctly, every MW season gave us at least 3 new or remastered MP maps through the season. MP had great support IMO. But it should’ve gotten more after the game’s lifecycle ended

I used to watch your content but I unsubbed around the time when cold war was a game. I would still get your videos in my recommended throughout the years and it wasn't that I hated your videos its that I just was sick of cod (especially when vanguard came out, like that game is one of the few cod games I didn't buy). The ending in this video and how much truth was in this video reminds me of the times where I could watch your videos and have a blast no matter how bad the game was or what the topic of the video was. I love your content and how sincere you are. Its always a lot of fun to check in every once in awhile so thanks. This was a good refresh and I resubbed.

Let’s just say that mw2019 gave me the chills when it first released. I was just 13, Covid hit and quarantine happened. I remember staying up super late playing this game. This is nostalgic

When I first heard about modern warfare being developed, I was so excited for the game, and when it finally came out, I was playing it a lot, and I had a bunch of levels but when, modern warfare two came out The hackers were insane and modern warfare was really the only Call of Duty® game I liked because modern warfare two didn’t have that much movement so it’s really sad to see modern warfare end like this with many hackers rest in peace. The reason why there was no dead silence perk in multiplayer is because they were scared that it would be a crutch in Warzone.
This game revived COD for me ❤️ quarantine was so fun with MW, some of the best times of my life honestly.
I'm glad at least someone wants to go back to the old cod days.

mw2019 was honestly a great game. a nice calm before the storm of increasingly bad games. just replayed the campaign on realism, though. i will always play it, it is beloved.

MW 2019 was my first cod game. Loved it so much I even bought cold war and vanguard and enjoyed them all. Now MW2 is coming out I can't wait to see what they do with Warzone 2.

Modern Warfare 2019 was easily a top 7 cod, the game was amazing and I've had so much fun with it.
The Party system is still to this day broken in MW2019 PC version. Its funny how a triple A game can loose working features over time and no one will ever do anything about it anymore :/

Sadly as I finished mw2 campaign this weekend it didn’t live up to mw2019 campaign. Felt way too safe and slow
as someone who does not enjoy the battle royale genre, warzone eating up all the potential for new call of duty games is a big slap in the face, showing that activision does not give a fuck about anyone that doesnt plan on playing warzone
i dont want to run around a giant map looking for weapons to use, boring myself to death when i can just play fast paced multiplayer instead

I’m currently watching a play through of the campaign in this game, and after three years this happens damn
Modern Warfare was the first time I was able to enjoy and experience a healthy cod game with a great community. Although I never got obsidian for anything, getting gold for my snipers was one of the best times I’ve had in a cod game

I still played more MW19 than Warzone, and that’s a fact. This game will live in my covid memories rent free. I would consider it one of my favourite video games I’ve ever played since I put sooooo many hours into it (thanks covid lockdown, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Justin Trudeau & Doug Ford lol)
MW2019 is one of my top 5 cods, a couple ups and downs during my experience but still enjoyed it all the way through, played it with my brother here and there when he was in the military, main part about MW2019 for me was the campaign, I hope MW2 brings more missions like clean house or like it’s own mode ig.

Even though I despise alot of the maps and major gameplay decisions that Infinity Ward made for no reason, i really like the movement (besides having to mash your buttons if you don't turn on auto tacsprint.)

Agreed, Modern Warfare lost its identity. To play the game you were required to updated Warzone. Every week there was an update, and when you don’t play that often it makes playing very frustrating.
In 2019 i didn't even know what the next cod after bo4 was, because i still played bo4. Until warzone came out in 2020 i noticed that mw2019 was the game lol
I can never really say goodbye to this game. Hands down, one of the BEST COD games in years. You know it's a good game when every game after it borrowed assets and ideas from the original.

Only thing I'll add is that Verdansk was the map for spec ops prior to Warzone. So they used that map for Warzone. They didn't know Warzone would be huge. Cold War had it's own Blackout mode planned before it was scrapped to instead integrate into Warzone. I don't think Warzone was the original plan. It just happened that way unfortunately.

Still going to be playing MW2019 alongside MW2. There’s still a pretty decent player base on MW2019 and I think it’ll stay that way even when MW2 comes out.

As someone who still plays mw 2019 I hate that they make new cod games I wish that they would update mw 2019 or maybe give a special update to the og mw 2 as I love the classic cod mw games but that’s my opinion and it will probably never be heard by the devs unfortunately.

In my opinion the MW2 beta was more fun than the last 3 cod games. So I'm pumped for MW2. I've spent the last 3 years playing exclusively on hardcore. so no red dots on the map when someone is firing and quick time to kill is what I've been use to for the last 3 years. So to me its not a big deal. Also out of the last 3 games Cold war is my favorite. I love the black ops series and I felt that cold war with all the old map remakes was amazing. The only way it could have been better in my opinion is if they added firing range. Love that map. Also you have to give them credit. They had to take the year of development sludge hammer made on a cold war game and turn it into a black ops game within two years. Cause activision wanted Sludge hammer to make a WW2 game so they can add WW2 guns to warzone. After the announcement of cold war I made a joke to my friends that the next one would be WW2 so they can add WW2 guns to warzone. I remember when they announced Vanguard and my friend sent me a text saying I was right. XD

It just hasn't felt the same, I heard everybody praise and Love the MW Reboot, but I think I just lost love for COD itself. Love your vids though, helps me keep up with the game and have some good laughs, same goes with me watching Jev.
I still can't believe people willingly played this game for more than a couple weeks. Innovation for innovations sake that achieved nothing and sent us backwards YEARS in the COD cycle

This game was just something else. I liked. I was good at it. I was better than any other person in my city.
I feel like older COD games get looked at with rose tinted glasses, I understand that this game could have had better post launch support if not for warzone but don’t discredit what this game actually did. It was the first game to be all inclusive no paid dlc or season pass completely free maps and weapons and more than you’d get with the whole 4 map pack system. No supply drops and a battle pass system that actually encourages you to just play the game. In my opinion this was the best COD since BO2
I cant wait for the 3rd person mode!!! they fixed the aiming issue with 4x and up.
