OVERCOMING MY FEARS AS A SMALL BUSINESS OWNER | CANDLE CONFESSIONS TIKTOK SERIES 🕯️

LONG POST ALERT 🚨
If I didn’t have a business I wouldn’t have the ability to be challenged in ways that I didn’t know I ever needed to grow.
I was scurred (😂) doing this, not going to lie. Thank you God for giving me the extra boost I needed to just trust in the vision you have for me.
These are my (candle) confessions 🕯️🎶✨
One day I had this idea to talk to people in public places (mall, stores, and so on) record it and have them give an honest opinion of my candles.
It sounded good in my head until it was time to execute 😫 I kept doubting myself and my capabilities, second guessing myself entirely too much, and honestly I was scared out of my mind lol.
I’m a firm believer that if God gives you a vision about something you just can’t shake, then you have no choice but to execute, because if you don’t you’re doing yourself (and him) such a disservice.
But it wasn’t until (literally) last friday night that I wanted to name it “Candle Confessions” like a play on Usher’s song, where people would “confess” or in this case review my candles and give an honest opinion on them. Then I would have confessions part 2 play in the background for the dramatics of course lol.
I’ve been sitting on this idea for quite sometime now, actually wayyy too long lol. I was getting fed up with myself because I knew exactly what I needed to do, I just had to get my mind in alignment with my goals.
I know it’s not perfect and I’m already strategizing on minor adjustments for the next episode lol but I’m SO proud of myself for building up the courage to even do it. Over time, I know I’ll just keep getting better and better.
