- To make it where the audio isn't delayed I had to split the video in two, which I never really like to do but it's really the only way I can get it done at the moment.
Someone brought it to my attention that there were no full cutscene videos for the PS4 version of the game, so I put all the cutscenes together for anyone wanting to watch them. They're in chronological order and include Events and movie CG cutscenes, as well as the XL cutscenes.
Since this game has hypothetical objectives that alter cutscenes I show the versions that show the most stuff. Some things may not make sense like to see Dian Wei die and then be in the cutscene for Guandu afterwards but that's the only way to show everything. I show the hypothetical cutscenes after all the historical ones, and the XL cutscenes are after that.
DW8 XL felt like a "Lu Bu" Appreciation game now that I look back on it, he has the most dope ending
Lu Bu’s voice actor, Jamieson Price also voiced as Algol from the Soul Calibur franchise. Try putting those two together, that would be a show and a good fight to remember.

when i first play Dynasty Warriors, it was Dynasty Warriors 8 and i play Lubu first. And his intro still give me chill till today about how a main character intro should be

Chen Gong did refer to them as warrior clans, and there really was only thing Lu Bu respected. So if any of the 3 clans as a whole had a chance of earning his respect, it would be Wu. Individuals from the other clans may have earned his respect, but not the clans as a whole.
That sentiment of respect is also somewhat shown in Warriors Orochi 2 the Wu Story

In a way, Lu Bu was correct. the emperor was such a weakling, that's why the land is in chaos
Lu Bu simply just interested with an fighting than being a president of a country if he seeing an capable figure which can managing the land with vision he has such as Liu Bei for example i guess lu Bu Will allow Liu Bei to take the emperor seat of the land ....
Technically everyone thought the Emperor was a weakling, he got controlled by many people such as Dong Zhuo and even Cao Cao.

It's not uncommon for Emperors of Chinese Dynasties to be a mere figurehead, just like Emperor Xian here, while the real _de facto_ power is in the hands of the eunuchs, Empress's relatives, and independent warlords or _jiedushi_ , especially during the twilight of Han and Tang Dynasties.
That's not the case with founding and talented Emperors though, such as Liu Bang, Emperor Wen, Emperor Wu, Emperor Xuan, and Emperor Guangwu. Those are Han Dynasty monarchs in its peak.
Idk why this got recommended to me a few years later. But it's kind of a shame that Lu Bu was kind of villainized in these games.
I mean, he wasn't pure evil. Traitorous? Yes. Ambitious? Yes. Arrogant? Yes. But in the actual Three Kingdoms period in Ancient Chinese history, everyone was just as much traitorous, ambitious, and arrogant because of an Emperor that was heavily influenced by Political Eunuchs(Dudes with no Pee Pee) and many warlords weren't happy with what's going on.
Lu Bu actually had the ability to make friends and inspire loyalty. I mean, yes he is reckless and temperamental, and cared more about finding glory in battle than actual administration of lands, but many people in the past kind of did him dirty by raining down insults on him along with some arrows.
I agree. I feel that Lu Bu has the most potential to be a better person, had he lived in better times and was steered in the right path. Idk, despite having those flawed qualities, he's not as bad as some other figures that have lived in that time period

14:54 Actually that was Ji Ling in Historical Romance of Three Kingdoms 1994... not Yuan Shu himself. Ji Ling (purple man) is the one who Stubbornly insulted Zhang Fei about leading his 100.000 troops to kill Liu Bei under Yuan Shu's order, and Zhang Fei replied against him
"Romance of the three kingdoms" isn't historical. It's political propaganda that was written centuries later by members of the western Jin dynasty
Just came back here after finishing my 3ktw Lü Bu campaign, was pretty fun I must say.
In both of Lu Bu's endings in the Japanese version, he proclaims, "I AM THE STRONGEST! I AM...LU BU FENG XIAN!" I wish that was in the English version.

You mean the historical ending? Lu Bu dies, Xiapi taken by Cao Cao, Zhang Liao and Zang Ba joins Cao Cao, Liu Bei given home by Cao Cao in Xiaopei, Xu Province belongs to Cao Cao completely. (cmiiw)

Lu Bu took Xiapi from Liu Bei so Liu Bei ran to Cao Cao for help. That's why Lu Bu died.

Edit: Also in total war Three Kingdoms lu bu is married ot a character named Lady Yan. Yan is the province that Ding Yuan comes from, in in other words he is the lord of Yan and Lady Yan married to lu bu is Ding Yuan's biological daughter. so dW7 is more realistic on that matter but if lu bu was really ding yuan's adopted son (unsure of that) then i guess.

I honestly loved the bromance between Hua Xiong and Lu Bu in DW8:XL. It's a huge change from his character in DW5 where he is like "HUA XIONG IS NOTHING".
He even says "HUA XIONG, WHY ARE YOU WASTING YOUR TIME AGAINST SUCH WORTHLESS PEONS?!" or something like that, as if he was disappointed to see someone as mighty as Hua Xiong waste time on fodder.
I still wish the PC port had PS4’s graphics.
