I think the farm animals are adorable, but love your use of the frames and cutting off parts of the mold with hot glue. That’s a wonderful idea! I’m going to have to get busy!
The ornaments are beautifully crafted! I love the way you married elements from the Christmas molds to the everyday ones. Having grown up on a farm, it has a special meaning to me. Thank you for showing us how to make these lovely ornaments. Hope your day is beautiful and blessed!
@@charlotted6247 thank you 😊 I worry about them breaking if they fall of the tree. I do love the clay but the resin seemed like a safer option for this project 😊
It's ALL FANTASTICALLY AMAZING!!!! Everything was Beautiful and the HACK- with the glue gun just to pour the heads of the moulds......I was so Happy!! I've turned on notifications for you( actually thought I had Months ago, when I discovered you) anyways I've got your notifications set and I can't wait to see what else you make for Christmas!! Omg I never knew u could use resin in the molds. I've been using the iod molds for a few years now.. GAME CHANGER .. BUT CAN U use thr air dry clay in them after resin ?
I love this idea! Do you find using a the amazing casting resin easier then the iod clay? I sometimes can’t get the tiny antlers out or a tail with the clay. Thanks so much!!
Thanks so much! I do find the resin easier with fine details 😊 I also have trouble with the antlers in the clay. Another reason I chose resin is also if the ornaments fall out of the tree they shouldn’t break like clay might.
Adorable!!! Brilliant ideas!! Maybe next time, choose some different music???
Thanks so much 😊
These just couldn’t be cuter!!
Aw thank you 😊
Had never thought about using the farmhouse animals as Christmas ornaments. Yours look great!

Thank you lovely 😊
@@TheProvincialFarmhouse Can't wait to see what you do next. Is there a reason you don't use the air dry clay? Would it make ornaments too heavy?

Hi yep you definitely can use clay after the resin. Amazing casting resin comes out clean. But you could always wash your moulds if you’re worried 😊
I love this idea! Do you find using a the amazing casting resin easier then the iod clay? I sometimes can’t get the tiny antlers out or a tail with the clay. Thanks so much!!
Have you tried popping them in the freezer a few minutes to harden?
@@charlotted6247 yes I have. It’s the little bits like the hood of the deer or the antler tip will fall off. Maybe I just have clumsy fingers 🙄.
Thanks so much! I do find the resin easier with fine details 😊 I also have trouble with the antlers in the clay. Another reason I chose resin is also if the ornaments fall out of the tree they shouldn’t break like clay might.
@@TheProvincialFarmhouse thanks so much I would have never thought about that! Falling out of the tree and breaking! I really loved the ideas!
