Yes! I was getting concerned but you chose correctly. It is not opinion based. Literature has specific criteria and Murakami is the greatest Japanese and modern writer. I usually stick with the classics, especially Russian. Murakami gives me hope that literature can still be spectacular and I hope it doesn’t disappear with him.

Compare kazuo ishiguro and Margret Atwood both are booker winners and they uses unreliable narrators in most of their works
Or try to compare murakami with Salman Rushdie because they are popular and best in magical realism genre
