11-13 Optimas FTW! :) not to knock the more recent generations. I just think they hit the ball out of the park when the new redesign came out back in 2011-2013 in terms of styling, looks and performance.
+Bernie Fen Our 2 Optimas, 2011Lx and 2012Ex Premium are our best decisions on new cars. The 2011 is the sporty one (LX) the 2012 EX Premium is the luxury one. Here in Reno we love the heated seats and warmed steering wheel. And they're both beautiful!
Drove a Mazda 6 Grand Touring 2016 and a 2.0 Turbo Kia Optima 2016 today. The torque of the KIA blew me away. The Mazda has amazing looks, fit and finish but definitely a weak engine and much higher gas mileage and a louder engine. The KIA has annoying industrial black dash that does not change with trim, NO CD player in any trim but very spacious, very quiet and lots of fun to drive, just talking about the turbo. I just can't decide which one to get.
Any time frame doing a review on the 2016 2.0t (SX or SXL) optima? I want to know the handling per different suspension compared to the lower trims (such as this review). Plus it's a slightly different look with more amenities.

this guy doesnt have a clue what he's talking about. this car is way better then he said it was. ive lived with this car now for 4 months. and also the 2011 model for three years excellent cars

If you get the 1.6 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder, then it only comes with a 7 speed dual-clutch transmission. It's the same thing found in the Hyundai Sonata Eco.
Thanks. How about the EX? I didn't see mention of the DRLs in the on line Specs list for any 2016 model. I also looked at a 2015 brochure and it didn't mention them at all either.

@@ItsLuwee We got the Mazda 6. So far no issues - great gas - less torque - loud road noise. But overall a gas sipper.
