Very cool video... almost like being back there again. ... Also, nice use of the drone footage.

Wanting to become a deckhand soon. Heading out to Alaska in 2 weeks with US seafoods. I’m from Ohio 🤟🏻🇺🇸

What percentage does a deckhand get?

Varies by boat, number of crew and your experience. Top deck hands get 8-12%,

Very Slick! I'll have www.fishfilmfest.com back up this season. I've been busy in southeast and forgot to pay the hosting. This is mosdef a contender! Your best edit so far!

can you be a deckhand Seasonally? and if so does any inexperienced person have a chance to snag a seasonal deckhand position?

Quintis Panterius our job/ run of fish is very seasonal! 6-8 weeks. Some boats will take inexperienced people. What's your interest/ reason for wanting to fish? Drop an email and I'll get you some more info.

Well done. Opening quote very poignant for this piece. A nice look at what else is happening while we skippers are overly focused on the return of the salmon.
