I felt in my heart that something sweet was going to happen. It wasn't until noon when I picked up my phone to see the notification about this new album. Saw him in 2017 in Columbus,Oh I think it was, going to see him tonight in Tampa! I have been to hundreds of concerts over the years and Ray was an amazing and the most beautiful concert I have ever been to other than Dolly Parton! Like her, he has the ability to reach in and grab your soul! Many blessings on him and his family!
Beautiful new album! There's nothing better than Rays voice and a guitar. I feel like this album could be from the 1960's and I'm into it. If you ever get the chance to see him live GO! I saw him in a small theater in Seattle and let me tell you that you could hear a pin drop. He so transfixed the audience. And he sounds so much better live! He is blessed with so much talent.
This album is so very reminiscent of Dan Fogelberg's "Home Free" album. Great memories flooded my heart as I heard these songs. They took me back 40 years when I drank port wine and sang songs that reached into my soul.
I am sick and also trying to deal with all the turmoil of the upheaval of our country.....Listening to this was a feeling of peace. Not to mention he is amazing !
I love this guy and his talents.. my smart phone utube music put him up one day that was 5 yrs ago and I’ve been hooked since.. many years of blessings to Ray LaMontagne..
I see the world and where its going and its such a helpless feeling.. and then there Ray and so many like him holding on... holding tight... making this music...
It seems like Ray likes to challenge himself on his albums with different styles and ways of singing yet the music still always sound uniquely his own.
Ray is absolutely incredible. I wish you would get more credit for what he does but I don't think he necessarily wants it, he's just happy making outstanding Americana music!
