Whole band is just great, but I was going to say the same thing. Brought all the soul without over-singing. And, she was dead in the pocket the whole time. Love to hear an album by this group.
Can I just say something here, that was rather good, nay, it was more than that, it was very, very, very, very good, in fact, for me, it wins the internet!
Great vocals! It will be awesome to see where Grace is in a few years, she’s clearly got the aptitude and it’s obvious she styles her playing after Derek Trucks. Encouraging to see so many young guitarists like Grace out there honing their skills on stage.
I love seeing this ,young people playing the Old Greats and really enjoying playing them ,I guess its a little Different being in nashville than the rest of the Country but we just dont get these awesome players here ,so I guess I will have to finally visit Nashville never been but definately on my list
Old Greats? This song has feel and groves like the greats from the past for sure. Thing is it's new, Grace & the HP are the creatures of this kickin one day to be classic song. You're totally correct, wonderful seeing younger folk playing this style, which has so much soul it moves you. Every player here has chops without a doubt, Esi (vocals) sounds amazing with talent, heart, range well beyond her years. As for Grace, 17 writing this, playing her guitar, no, becoming one with the guitar, in the way SRV, Freddie King and Jimmy could. This young Lady is special, hope she stays the course and keeps playing , learning and growing , simply amazing.
SG Special. At 3:18 you may hear why the Humbucking(TM) pickup was invented. I dunno. I think the single coils sound more natural. Standard Humbuckings have phase cancelation because the two coils are at different locations under the strings. Maybe stacked humbuckings don't have that.
She's quite young, has a few chops and questionable "time," But this is the flavor We must Consume according to Gibson. Nothing against Grace personally, and She may prove to be awesomely talented talented even if her sense of time isn't quite there "yet
Yawn......Might be interesting if she played an actually solo that had cohesion....Bring the young man in the back up to the front maybe then we'll hear some smoking leads....And the knob twiddling really needs to stop. If you can't control the feedback, then it's time to drop the P90's and get some humbuckers....
@@nashvilleheatwaves2695 click her once, and youtube knows no mercy, you know how it goes... Remarkable video because to any guitarist playing this kind of blues should be more talented. She can't even control the guitar volume in the mix - a bedroom shredder.
The band is many levels above her.....if they didnt keep breaking the song down trying to push her to the front as some insane lead guitarist when she has a hand full of riffs she plays in every solo, she wouldnt get the same Criticism but it comes across like an ego project or a plant that givson hope to sell a ton of guitars off....she has a long way to go and needs someone to push her the right direction or shes going to waste years not improving and being detrimental to the bands sucess

I predict you all will go places. People love real mojo like this. A job well done, love this stuff.
Wow this terrific, the whole group , but specially Grace and Esi…. love their originality, musicality and the energy , great stuff.
An amazing performance. Enjoyed every second of it.
The young brother playing the slide was killing it. What a great band this is.
New album tracks are brilliant. Grace and this band have taken rock out of the dead hall of fame and made it live again.
Singer is the star here...smooth...

Love her voice
Nice tune. Well delivered. Love the band vibe - vocals and subtle background slide in particular 😊
Talent still exists. Good job!
Jebus. Brightest in the sky! A star? That's a whole constellation up there!

Can't wait to listen to this amazing tune when it's officially released!

THIS is why live music is best! I just heard the same song off the new album, and it's GREAT, but you don't get THIS! Bravo, Hodge Podge! Bravo! 🤩🤩🙌🙌
Love this! My kind of soulful, cool, rockin music! I think favorites of mine like @ericclapton and @johnmayer would like this! ✨💿✨👏👏😎👍
Blues it seems is very much alive. I dig it. I guess Earl King could be very proud about his many 'grand-' and 'great grand children'..

Damn you soooo good, love your music
Grace is brilliant. A beautiful, 17 year old, female version of Robert Plant's hair. Long may Grace rule the airwaves.
Slowly jelling together.....
Noice new blood on the scene!
Is this an original? I’m not familiar with it. It’s beautiful.
original

Your frequent dissing of Grace Bowers is tiresome. Since you think so little of her talent, stop watching her videos.
