Why dont u hire a narrowboat on the 3 scottish canals heidi, you can cruise on the forth and clyde and probably meet up at stables on glasgow road where u can cruise down to the bowling basin ,spiers wharf looking over city of glasgow,or head across country to falkirk and the kelpies or falkirk wheel up to the union canal + head out to edinburgh and if u wanted to try the caledonian canal u could take train from queen street station up to the highlands and cruise the vast stretch of water. Theres plenty to see up here and watering holes😅lol and u wouldnt be disappointed either .stop overs are highly recommended so u can appriciate the fantastic scenery all around u . Youve got jaks for company and ur rescue pug dog as well. Chat to u soon😂

Blue sky makes everything better. But that looked like a pretty dreary day at the start. I'd have had a hard job getting out of bed to go stand outside on the back of the boat. What a shame so many of the locks on that stretch are out of order and very badly disrepaired in some cases. Have you ever been down to the midlands and gone through Foxton Locks? Not a million miles from where I grew up. Apparently it's the longest, steepest staircase locks in the UK. Very pretty and very well maintained as it's a Grade II listed site. So popular in the summer months for people to just come and watch the boats go by.

Since you're a Pirate and a musician would It be prudent and fun to use a sample of your engine noise to write a song? That thumping of the diesel would make a great back beat. I’ll try to do something in the future .. I did use the tempo of it when making flow job but not the sound as it didn’t have enough bass .. but, I may do a live mess about when it’s brighter, as the days are so dark at the moment, filming in that engine room isn’t pleasant 😂🏴☠️

In the US a gnat is a teeny tiny fly. I don't think they bite, suck blood or sting. More like a swarm of fruit flies you end up inhaling. (Blech) Mosquitoes... oddly I didn't see a single one while I was in the UK, but maybe because it was windy? Here in New England they get to the size of a hummingbird (yikes!)

Hi Allan, I get the coals glowing hot and load it right up and shut the flaps a bit … then it stays in for about 12 hrs no problem 😄😄
