I can kinda see (hear?) what you mean, but Alfred's voice is much rawer and this song is perfectly in his range.
Raymond Lam's voice is lovely (I'm a big fan) but it's usually quite soft and has this kind of purring to it--not exactly how to describe it, but they have very different voices, is just what I'm trying to say xD

***** The melody can't be compared because it is the same, but it is comparable in voice and lyric. That is all subjective so don't take it too personally.
I like the way Alfred sings it more because his voice is lighter; I find Andrew's voice too low...but maybe it suits the lyrics because he's supposed to be bitter. But Alfred was the one that got me to like the song. But the lyrics of 天后 is better; the lines flow more straightforwardly, though I don't like theme. It's like saying saying you know you're stuck in a one-sided relationship that you want to get out of but don't and then complain about it. Whereas this Cantonese version talks about something completely different..youthful impulsiveness and stubbornness. The only issue is either my Chinese sucks or the lyrics are not well written...I can't understand every line, or how it all links up. But I do like those themes because love songs are too common.
