Hey Micheal, I used to sell those grills at work and a tip I used to tell my customers that those grates were meant to sit with the wide part up. If you look you'll see that that side is completely flat while the side you used has ridges and even little feet type things in the corner. Happy grilling mate, Cheers!

If you like to eat your burger while its still mooing at you, watch this video!! If you don't, set grill to a lower temperature and cook for longer than Michael did so that its dead but not burnt!!

Hey Michael, here's a cooking tip, cook it at around 300 for twice the time and it will be cooked all the way through, Hamburgers below medium-well are a bit of a health risk because of how they're ground up, also press down on the burger every now and then with your spatula if you want it to be less greasy
How can you eat shoe leather like that? Medium well, yuck. The only way to cook a good burger is Medium rare. Get outta here with that "health risks" bullshit

Having never seen a video on this channel before, only knowing Micheal from AH, I assumed this would be a video on the video game BurgerTime. I was pleasantly surprised
I had a feeling that burger was on gonna be on the rare side. Maybe next time cook it at 400 instead of 500 lol.

+Plague Doc Seeing as ground beef can be contaminated anywhere, you should probably good it all the way through, steak isn't ground so you dont need to.
Rare for a steak is fine, but for a burger you want closer to medium. And that burger was barely above rare and burnt on the outside. That wouldn't pass in a 'top tier' restaurant. You want grill marks, but not burn marks. Cooking it at 400-450 (depending on the thickness of the burger) for 16 minutes will put you at medium in the center and nice grill marks with no burning.
