I use the Rincon 2p with the insert. Love it. Fits the dog and gear - heaps of room. Argali do a set up video for each. The pitch with about 10cm clearance from the base provides great condensation management. The 2p looks small next to the 4p. But it is not. Great tent. Suggest you replace the V pegs with three prong Y design pegs like MSR Ground hog. Pay for the seam sealing.
I've been looking at the 2P for a single man shelter , go with my Ti stove for winter . I think the Peax Solitude 4 is a better design for the bigger tipi , l have the bathtub floor for mine and it makes all the difference
Did ya end up getting a Rincon? I was able to check out the Absaroka when I was in the states and will grab one with the full insert for family trips, but would've liked to have seen a Rincon and even seen the 2 side by side to get an idea of footprint
I don’t think they’d like the wind very much, I reckon your storm star is the way to go…. Obviously weight is the trade off. Ps: Yey the campgrounds open again 😂

Na I didn’t, I’ve got something else coming, smaller and lighter, I’ll show it when Ive used it a bit
How does it compare to the Kuiu trekking pole tent?
Heaps bigger, and easier to get set up right I reckon

I have a 2p and it’s too small. I ordered the 4p
Is that for two blokes or yourself?
@@Beardandgun just me. I’m 6’ tall and at times my feet would poke out the side of the 2p while sleeping
