My IDOL....HARRISIN AND INDIANA FOR ME ARE THE SAME PERSON....ILOVE HER PERFORMANCE...THIS ARE MYFAVOURITE SAGA I LOVE IT TO MUCH....THANKS INDIANA JONES....SALURATION FROM CHILE..
If it gets a re-release in honor of its 40th anniversary next year, I’m definitely going to see it on the big screen. I’ve seen the film several times on DVD, but it’d be an adventure of a lifetime to see it on the big screen.
RIP Michael D. Ford (June 11, 1928 - May 31, 2018), aged 89 And RIP Norman Reynolds (March 26, 1934 - April 6, 2023), aged 89 You both will be remembered as legends.
At 1:19-1:35 anyone find it funny that NO ONE in this audience gave an applause for the movie Ragtime starring Howard Rollins???? You have to love the 1980s' lol.
Oh, come on. That was a timing issue. The applause for Heaven's Gate overlapped with the announcement of Ragtime. They applauded for Raiders as soon as the name came up. They got confused whether they should applaud at the beginning the movie title appears, or after the names are announced. At the end of Ragtime's announcement, they thought they had already applauded for it when its title was announced. So they applauded for Raiders when its title was announced.
Announcing the award for your own movie seems like it could introduce a little bias into the proceedings. Quite a temptation to read it as your own movie even if something different was in the envelope!
0:48, Howard Rollins of "In The Heat of the Night" fame!
