I have 21% of my portfolio in Opendoor. While some people will pump random numbers just for hype, I’m here to give you my honest opinion, even if it’s unpopular. I’m a long-term holder here. Stick to your convictions and have a long-term mindset...days like today will always happen, just about getting on the other side of them.
True, but then again, if he had shares in the company, people would say that he's biased. Not having shares indicates that he's unbiased and objective in his calculations/opinions/thoughts, no?

Good breakdown. Its definitely undervalued, but ,maybe not as much as the author proposed. I think they do have long term potential, but that depends on their performance over the next few years. Its definitely going to grow, but to what extent we don't know. But I definitely think they will grow over the next few years.
Thanks for the comment Dennis! I like Dropbox as a service but not a huge fan of Dropbox stock. Too many competitors that do exactly the same thing. If Dropbox had some technological advantage over Google Drive for example I might consider it. My honest opinion.

I like both! Zillow has a lot of experience and a massive amount of data they can leverage from the realtors they work with. Opendoor is also a fantastic opportunity as well (in my opinion) mainly from a data/machine learning perspective.

Almost exactly what you got Mike. A revision or correction from Mark? Either way, ... happy to be in OpenDoor for the immediate future.

I've been mulling over this company for far too long. One question I do have, my brokerage has both tickers, OPEN and OPENW. The ladder is cheaper. Are there any disadvantages to getting OPENW instead of OPEN? 🤔
Thanks for the comment Ken! So OPENW is for Opendoor warrants. These give you the option to purchase shares at a future date at a specified price. Owning OPEN you own the shares. Hope that helps :) 🤙🏼

The so called case-shiller index showed a 8.4% increase in home prices over the past year. The holding period of a home in open portfolio is what ? A month or so. So the home appreciates by 8.4/12=0.7%.

This is - beside Zillow and Redfin - another player in Cloud based Real Estate Sector. EXPI has according to my information even lower EV/Sales ratio than DOOR.

There's not many articles about Opendoor at all. I know they just went public and I hope this will change soon. If you Google news Opendoor there's only a few articles spreaded across a few weeks and not much from any analysts. Hope the word gets out and see more media coverage including Jim Cramer's Mad Money!

@@davidsanders4013 for the most part my options don’t expire until Feb so I am not paying too much attention to daily news. And like you said, there’s not that much. I look at the ARK funds daily and see if they pick up any shares...look at call/put ratio...and follow peeps on Twitter that’s about it for now

what day are your expiration date? I put the same amount into 2023 contracts so I still feel secure.
