Extremely interesting and informative. Have him on frequently. At least as long as this war continues.

Probably the best analysis I've seen on the unfolding Ukraine war. Get this Aussie bloke back anytime! Cheers from Brisbane

I'm a Russian citizen on vacation in Ukraine and I genuinely had no idea this was occurring.
Thankfully I drove here in a T-72 with an AK and a few extra pairs of green fatigues

Just watched the movie _Tangerines_ last night and this conversation brought a lot of themes from that film into better focus (at least formed some better context, even though all of history is perspective-oriented). I 'enjoyed' the film, though I felt the interconnectedness of the camaraderie was a bit rushed. Good film.
The religious themes were unknown to me regarding the regional conflict and it was interesting to hear about some of that here as well.
Important to note that it's not _Tangerine_ , but Tangerines (with an s). Rented it free from the library app called Kanopy.

Along with a recent Jordan Peterson podcast, this is the most informative discussion I've heard on the Ukraine invasion. Well done!

Mr Zelensky is the grandson of "Soviet Ukraine" jewish citizens who fought against the German & German Allies invaders during WW2...I have been following this unfolding "Greek Tragedy" in Ukraine since the 2014 Maidan Protests...As a student of Russian / Ukrainian Politics and History I dont have alot to say about Zelensky and his team whom I consider incompetent idiots & puppets of Brussels and Washington...Zelensky is an educated man who devoted his life to comedy & entertainment so he's a very good actor...I hope that Putin & his ministers are are made to answer for their war crimes in Ukraine but I havent seen anybody from GW Bush administration or Blair government brought before the Tribunal in The Hague over the last decade...

if we didn't have a 'formal' treaty promise endorsed by congress and written into law to limit nato expansion east, then how could trump as president withdraw our treaty commitments by threatening to leave the alliance ..?? what single president would ever have that power .. ??

America lost the war in Afghanistan , after twenty years, and spending trillions, against a country with approximately 40 million people ( the US has the greatest military in the world)
Russia hasnt completely subdued a country of approximately 40 million people after two weeks, but Putin has won all 5 wars he has undertaken as President of Russia ( the Russian military is completely failing)
