We Head out to Trucks Gone Wild at Plant Bamboo and This Event Did Not Disappoint!!!
As someone in the rust belt of Michigan, I can’t get over how clean and rust free these mud trucks are!!!!
As a Canadian, it brings an icicle to my eye to see no rust on those frames. One winter of salt, and shit is toast
Agreed. I'm live just outside detroit and everything is rotted. I've bought new trucks and have seen rust within 3yrs. I was doing an exhaust on a duramax sierra 2500hd, about 1yo, my personal truck which I washed or brought thru the carcass atleast and broke almost every bolt. 1yo. Unreal. 3rd gen ram bedside was popping within 3yo, guy I worked with bought it new. Actually got fixed under warranty.

Plant bamboo is a ton of fun. Lived relatively close when it first opened.. nothing like mudding Saturday night and going bass fishing in lake Okeechobee with a hangover Sunday

All and All truck did pretty good,looked like a ton of fun. Wish we had legal places to take our trucks to play around in the mud like their is down your way. Until that happens the farmers abandoned overgrown,flooded fields on the back side of the creek will have to do. Thanks

My uncle has a 468 big block setup for alcohol but the block is partially cemented from being in a drag car just need to swap blocks and bore yours out and you’ll have some more power

Hey JH I have a similar truck and when you guys are talking on the trailer in the beginning it looks like the truck side mount where the old link bar bent may have tweaked your cradle a tad. Just wanted to point it out since mine did the same thing in the past.

Looks like that big block 454 is running great! But If you want 2 or 300 more hp call scott shaffiroff vinny will hook you up! I'd personally go with a 540 standard deck or a 572 tall deck. Both will allow room for more power later and tons of meat left for rebuilds. You could turn your 454 into a 489 or 496 and up the compression that would really make her run as well.
One of these days I am going to have to attend one of these events.
