Dr. Kinne always attended our Christmas parties here at WW Gay Mechanical and was such a joy to talk to. My daughter is in the 2020 JU Graduating Class and Fran was undoubtedly an inspiration to her. She will be greatly missed, a Big "Go Phins" for you Dr. Kinne.
Dr. Kinne made a lasting impression on everyone she met. She will be missed. May she rest in peace knowing how much we loved her. She endured so much but never complained.
Fran Kinne was the most remarkable person I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She loved "HER KIDS" -- that is what she called us. God Bless you, Fran. You formed so many people in your lifetime. I think more than if you had your own children. Your JU children are your kids! Thank you Fran, for helping form me into a good person. To go forth in the world and spread greatness. My heart is so heavy. Love you Fran.
The world is diminished by her passing. A great woman, a remarkable life, and a genuinely beautiful soul. Thank you, Dr. Kinne, for all you have given. Requiescat in pace.
Fran was my next door neighbor during my high school and college years and was such an inspiration and dear friend. In a way, it's kind of fitting she was called home during Mother's Day, as she took so many under her wing over her lifetime. Rest in peace, Fran.

I loved Dr Kinne. She always gave me sage advice. I shall never forget her. Que en paz descance. Fr. Conrad Smith, class of 1962.
Wonderful testimonial Tim

Sad to hear this news. What a life and legacy.
Pitch perfect, Tim. A beautiful statue of her under the oaks will let her stay with us forever. Thanks again.
She was my inspiration way back in the early 70s! What a great person and friend!!! The world would be a better place if we were all like her...
A wonderful woman, friend, and administrator. Always concerned for others, always willing to reach out and help.
A great loss but glad she's in the arms of Jesus now....
I loved every moment I spent with her.
