14y/o american skinhead here, this song explains my life entirely. Sad seeing that there are pretty much no more S.H.A.R.P and ANTIFA skins my age. Oi!
Cock Sparrer has been playing "old man punk" since they were young. I think that's why the music is so timeless. They literally grew into the sound that they had previously created. Hands down one of the best rock bands of all time!
Bless Them , if I can put my teen angst and rebellion into a song this is it and will always be , singing in unison with all my friends at those riverbeds and train tracks , love this song
Because you're young, sharp as a knife You need that buzz to come alive Out on the edge, out on the town You ain't got time to settle down You're always sure, you're always right You see it all in black and white You never listen to anyone Because you're young Because you're young, you're torn between A world of hate and a world of dreams So much to lose, so much to gain So much to fight for, so much to change You don't look back, you don't look down You gotta turn everything around You live your life like a loaded gun Because you're young Stop talking back, get off the phone You're late again, you missed the last bus home This ain't the way you want to live I know something's got to give You're always sure, you're always right You see it all in black and white You never listen to anyone Because you're young

@@therespectedlex9794 I put him off ? Read that back to myself? You have absolutely no idea the context of what my comment means between my son and me and if you have listened to this song then you should at least have some tiny iota as why .. I live in San Diego, but my cousin came thru for my B-Day and bought me a ticket to the show. So, I just had to buy the plane tix to get up there. It was an incredible show!

The word swastika came from the Sanskrit word svastika, meaning any lucky or auspicious object, and in particular a mark made on persons and things to denote auspiciousness. It is composed of su- meaning "good, well" and asti "to be". Suasti thus means "well-being." The suffix -ka either forms a diminutive or intensifies the verbal meaning, and suastika might thus be translated literally as "that which is associated with well-being," corresponding to "lucky charm" or "thing that is auspicious."
This popped into my head on repeat and took on a different meaning when I started parenting a teenager. It comes full circle.
The past 16 years my husband has played this for me every year on my birthday :)

Such amazing lyrics, it humbles me so much.
how is life 7 years later?
How's adult life, my friend? Suck right? Yeah I know...
The best time to be young was way back in the 1980s! I was 13 at the beginning of the 1980s and 23 at the end of that decade!

🇧🇷 2024 because you're young
Because you're young, sharp as a knife
You need that buzz to come alive
Out on the edge, out on the town
You ain't got time to settle down
You're always sure, you're always right
You see it all in black and white
You never listen to anyone
Because you're young
Because you're young, you're torn between
A world of hate and a world of dreams
So much to lose, so much to gain
So much to fight for, so much to change
You don't look back, you don't look down
You gotta turn everything around
You live your life like a loaded gun
Because you're young
Stop talking back, get off the phone
You're late again, you missed the last bus home
This ain't the way you want to live
I know something's got to give
You're always sure, you're always right
You see it all in black and white
You never listen to anyone
Because you're young
