    Check out Ozone 10:
    www.izotope.com/en/products/o...
    Check out Neutron 4:
    www.izotope.com/en/products/n...
If you want to make your own music (and possibly publish so others can hear it), but struggle with the skills of Mixing and Mastering, this video shows you how easy it is with iZotope's Neutron 4 for tonal shaping and mixing, and Ozone 10 for Mastering.
If you already know how to mix and master, that's awesome!
But, for those who either don't (or are still learning), this video will show you 3 simple processes to get your music radio ready with a click of a button:
    1. Tonal Shaping each track with Neutron 4 (one click for each track)
    2. Mixing the levels of your tracks automatically with VIsual Mixer (comes with Neutron 4)
    3. Mastering your song with Ozone (again, one click and you are done)
Don't get me wrong, learning how to mix and master is an awesome skill to develop, but it's also a lifelong journey (just like guitar) that many people don't want to learn, don't have time to learn, or are in the process of learning, but are not yet ready, but have music that they'd love to release sooner than later.

Thanks for this awesome tutorial and Wow! Neutron 4 and Ozone 10 makes recording so much easier! I have a question, Did you and the band record (dry) into the DAW with no real amps or plugins, then later use whichever plugins for example, what I use: BIAS FX2?

This is the most comprehensive video of using this software combined with ozone 10/11 that I’ve come across.
Clear and easy to understand, way better than iZotopes actual videos.
    Thanks for your work here!

I already owned both of these products before seeing your video and this is spot-on showing how awesome they are for putting together demos and stuff when you know zero about mixing and mastering. I'm floored at how good these are with 90 seconds of effort.

Hey Steve - really great explanation of how the tools work. I've done some mastering in my audio career and I think you take exactly the right attitude with this set of plugins. It will get someone really quickly to 'good enough' and often something closer to 'actually pretty good.' I often put Neutron across a couple of busses, then on the master bus, and I can send someone home with a really good idea of what work they did in the studio that day. Really mixing it will take more time/effort/expertise, but these tools are incredible for getting an artist/performer to understand where they are now in the process of making something. Great video! Thank you!.

Many other Izotope videos are too short and don't explain much about the workflow on a complete mix. Thanks for taking the time to show your complete workflow. Great video!

This was so much better and Easier to follow than the videos iZotope put out for these products. They put out a video for each product; both longer than your 1 video. Yours still had much more useful info. Thanks.

That kind of softwares are gamechangers. Everyone are able to do quick mixes and actually see what is going on inside these plugins. I do not use neutron very often as I want to do the research myself but ozone is absolutely beast when doing quick mastering.

This was the best explanation of how to actually use Neutron I've seen. I use Reason, and Studio One is the closest DAW to Reason because of the layout (Ableton and FL Studio drive me crazy with the track layout lol) because although there aare tutorials that tell you what you are going to be doing, seeing how it's applied in the DAW step by step is what I needed to know. Thanks for sharing this with us. And that song rocks, by the way. It sounds great!!! And of course there will be some other things to add and subtract to get it mastered, but basically in less than 30 minutes you can go from a rough mix to a premaster, and that is absolutely great when you're busy and have lots of projects at hand. I have a sub to the production suite, and you have helped me go a long way to use it to maximum benefit.

Would you usually run neutron on the drums multitrack stem, or is it usually better to use it on each individual drum stem before processing? I noticed that here it was used on an already bounced stereo stem of drums (or overhead track?), as opposed to the individual drums stems. Same for vocals with effects. I noticed here the vocal stem is already processed with reverb and what not, which sounds great... But is it usual to run the neutron after a track has been processed, assuming you already like the processed sound?

A question, though. On the vocal track of the song you used, It already had reverb and echo. Should those effects be applied first before neutron? Should it also be the same on other tracks aswell?

I agree with everything you say about Neutron 4, except you need a good computer to use it on every single track. I use Mixcraft 9 pro studio and Neurton 4 works great in the DAW but when mixing down, the cpu of my computer can't handle it.
It mixes down 2 instruments good for me but as soon as bass/drums come in, all you hear is the sound of the cpu crashing.
What would you recommend for the cheapest computer to use products like Neutron 4 and not have the problems I have in mixing down, as well as general music production. Thanks
