The guns despite being only 3 are 150mm and they do a decent alpha dam for he: they reload in 4 sec so ehy cant U build it for gunboating?

@@caioanglussi7139because the lack of guns plus a 4 second reload base for 3 guns isn’t competitive and you will lose a gunfight to even tier 6 gunboats
@@caioanglussi7139 yeah too few guns. You can buff the reload to 3.6 easily but still low barrel count it barley competes with ZF6 at that point DPm wise

Yeah, the torps might not hit for a lot but getting hit with 8 of them like that Vald did? That’s emotionally damaging

How about a division of 3 of these...or 2 and a gunboat...imagine 48 torps going for a blob of ships while you sit in smoke with a good gunboat...lol! And you can join in gunning..

use it in a div with Friesland
fry boy lays the smoke and you lay a screen of torps while hiding in that smoke. tanky and brave enemy ships like to rush down Friesland, so set a trap for them. think of it as a light counter to pushing BBs and CCs
use this thing to dislodge enemy DDs and CCs that are hiding in smoke. stay undetected as best you can then when you see an enemy that's smoking up let the fly!
I always hate when people double DD in a div, it's hard on a team to have 2 DDs spawn in one spot...but hey I've done it and it's fun haha
yeah its a little selfish but if you crush one side fast enough crazy things can happen

Recommending brand new players to grind in tier 7 when they don’t understand basics of the game 😮. No wonder the player base is getting worse.

@@DerkaGames that is a very optimistic view, but unfortunately that’s not how things go, if you ever go look at the profile of the players who gets 500xp or lower per game, they’re almost always new players, now I’m not saying they’re incapable of learning but they just don’t have the basic understanding of the game. Plus at tier 7 you can pick up really bad habits where if you play lower tiers people are less likely to commit those bad habits, for example abandoning the flank they spawn in, that alone happens way more frequently at tier 7 compared to lower tiers.

Honestly...I'm in love with the Jäger lol..I'm averaging 2.7 ish kills per game in it. I've gone up against a black, and a loyang at the same time as they cap rushed. Killed the black with a screaming torp wall, and reset the loyang to let my team win. I've shot it out with the z46 at 8km in a do it or lose scenario, and almost beat him if it wasn't for his Flandre. It is a one trick pony...but it takes that trick to the max. I agree that overall, though, the Ostergotland is a much much better ship....but torpedoes though are still fun when you can throw a literal wall of 94 knot 12km torps at a flank. It's surprising also how many DDs you can catch sleeping by using the indicator to throw torps
It's fun I totally agree, I'll prolly play it in a div with the boys and not have to sweat for a dub. 24 torps is ludicrous 😄
There is no such thing as free in this game. It's only free to play. But all currencies, such as Global XP you earn by grinding hard, investing your time.
Grinding GXP is mission impossible without premium time, for which you have to pay.
Other than that, keep up with good content! Nice editing, good narration, well done.
It's like my Benham torping, a storm of 16 torpedoes every 70 seconds, but Jager seems better

WG first tier 5 campaign ship sorry what it's a tier 7? It has a heap of torpedoes is its only saving Grace, no smoke and poor detection. Even if you spec commanders for detection it will still not be enough to be able to contest caps, anyone that plays this will be putting your team at a huge disadvantage.

Derka, did you say concealment is 6.6? Shows 6.9 when I view it from the campaign and thought that's terrible. Don't have it yet?

@@DerkaGames it's 6.9 base, as average as it gets. This DD has to stay at a safe distance. I have seen ZF6s prowling around at 4.8 km detection and the most this ship can get is 5km.
Well that's exactly what i was expecting xD Oster is better in every way plus the utility, and i hate torp boats unless there is something else to them, and this one ? Well the something else was devoured by Friesland and Ostergotland

Reason i specked into concealment only was to be able to control engagements.
Not much to do about CVs, but to stay around the teams AA buble or "just dodge".
Dont see many people going for "Less is more" skill like me. I am all in for better damage and reload on the expense of the huge range.
This ship can be very annoying if you know when to stack or spread the torpedos.

This thing could be shima-level toxic if u have bad DD/CV players on your team. A decent gunboat/CV captain will see this thing as free xp.
Tier 7 European Shimakaze. Best at the tier at what it does, but can’t do anything else for balance purposes. Oh boy

Im a torp boat guy and still thought this was a joke ship then was appalled realizing they were serious. and with a full length campaign at that. No smoke and shite aa at tier 7 and getting carriers is a death sentence.
This update is even more lackluster than the winter one was.
Oh well time to trudge through ranked to get the 2400 steel over the next couple weeks. Already had way too many afk ships though.

@@DerkaGames can't wait, all the commanders are either great inspirations (Cheshire,Zara) or extremely good in the actual commander spot(everyone else). I have only used bismarck so far, but have seen that she compared to Ciliax: is offensive and proactive with her tank and secondary skills compared to Ciliax who is cautious and reactive with the extra dcp and more main battery ap dmg. Both have their own uses and are equally strong in secondaries just Bismarck has less room for error with her damage control parties and can tank more shot while Ciliax can take more fires and flood but not as many direct hits.
This destroyer sucks.
