At Amity International School, Navi Mumbai, we believe that Dussehra celebrations in schools are a valuable opportunity to impart lessons on integrity, courage, and the importance of standing up for what is right. Dussehra also known as Vijayadashami embodies the power of unity, the triumph of goodness, and the ultimate victory over darkness. With this spirit, the Pre-Primary section of our school celebrated Dussehra with great enthusiasm on 11th October, 2024. This year’s celebration featured a lively musical dance drama performed by our young students, depicting the story of Durga and Mahishasura. The performance beautifully illustrated the victory of good over evil, fostering a sense of community and appreciation for cultural traditions. Students also participated in creative activities, making colorful takeaways and crafting traditional decorations with paper and other materials, which added a festive touch to the event.
 The Dussehra celebration was a vibrant and engaging experience that instilled cultural values, creativity, and joy in our Pre-Primary students, reinforcing the significance of this festival in a meaningful way.
