He was careful not to break any rules with time and that's why he didn't attempt to save them. In her case, it was different. She was the only exception. I'm glad she'll be back for the 12th's regeneration. Hope it'll be epic
honestly, the directors of doctor who should watch these deep videos. like, they can learn so much and get so many ideas for DW! i mean this video perfectly captures the beautiful relationship between clara and the doctor, its so much more than just a friendship. there are deep connections, and they understand each other on a level thats thats so moving. i think this relationship is more moving than river and 11.

This is one of those videos to show people who continue to deny that there was anything between the Doctor and Clara, or that it ended when he regenerated. Or that Clara was "just another companion" which I have no word of a lie actually seen people try to claim. Taken as a whole - from 2012 to 2015 - the relationship between the Doctor and Clara Oswald was one of the greatest romances I've ever seen play out on TV, or in many films. But because they didn't play by the rules of pop culture romance a lot of people don't or won't recognize it (plus sad to say there's been a lot of ageism happening too, forgetting that the Doctor could be played by a 6 year old and still be centuries older than anyone else on screen). What's very interesting is there is so much shipping that is "wishful thinking" or based on "reading between the lines" which some may discount. What I think is confusing a lot of people is that this is one ship that is evident throughout the on-screen canon. There is no wishful thinking required.

Every now and then i come back to all my saved Whoffle videos and I FALL IN LOVE WITH ALL OF THIS ALL OVER AGAIN, OMG, WHY IS IT SO WONDERFUL!??!?!??!?!? I get it, i get the arguments that she became too important going through his timeline or what have you, but that's why i like 12+Clara a little better: it wasn't big or universal, it was one woman going through grief, and a man who loved her refusing to let her go. It was impossible in a very grounded and human way: surviving grief (feels impossible) and letting someone go/accepting grief (feels impossible) BEE-EE-AYY-YOU-TIFUL. Gosh darn.
Absolutely perfect. This isn't really a sad video, which makes me happy because every time I watch Clara and Eleven/Twelve tributes I cry, but this one made me smile and giggle. So thanks for reminding us that there was more to it than the sad bits!
