I agree 100% that clarity and simplicity beats complicated! Ren, Knox Hill, Crypt, Dax, and most YT Rappers need to hear this as their rap flow is just too complicated and fast, and lacks that clarity and pause needed for the listener.👍👍

I have trouble being ahead of a bar how can i go about that? I think thats key to be behind but im unable to see where im going wrong and i use filler words a lot how do i get rid of that? Also i dont know the context to use with my target words
I had this problem for a long time! It can be a struggle trying to come up with “good” wordplay on the fly. Here’s two things that worked for me: 1. Re-play the same Rhyme Game with the same words multiple times. That way, you can “prepare” good wordplay. Over time, you will have 2-3 different ways to approach each line, and your vocabulary will become more reliable. 2. (This one’s harder) Practice SO MUCH that the rhythm & rhymes become automatic/subconscious. Once you are able to manage your rhymes with minimal thinking, you can stop focusing on “what do I say this line?” and start focusing on “what will I say NEXT line?” The more automatic you make your raps, the further ahead you can focus. I highly recommend playing The Rhyme Game a lot! It helps make things automatic.
