  • In this week’s AbsoluteDogs TV Episode, we discuss:
Between 6-7 months and up to 3 years of age, your dog is an adolescent. Suddenly your dog will become:
    - more aware of the environment
    - less attentive and focused
    - less responsive to previously well-known cues
    - more focused on other dogs or people than you
It is so important to recognise your dog’s strengths. We cover top tips in this week’s TH-cam video that will help you succeed with your adolescent or teenage dog.

Hi Debbie! Don't worry, you're in the best space to get support! ♥️ She sounds like a typical teenager! 😅 Have you seen our Absolute Adolescence badge? It's one of my favourite badges and it's a deep dive into teenage behaviour, understanding the whole holistic picture of why you may be seeing changes in their behaviour and how to support them during this stretching time. I wish it had been around when my dogs were teenagers!
This would be such a help with what can be a bit of a challenging time. There are so many lightbulb moments and reassurance too. Plus practical advice and games to turn any teenage struggles into strengths. You can check it out here:

And in the meantime, I think you'll find this free e-book on growing calmness super helpful:
