Hi, Frost and Andrew. I've been watching your guy's content for almost a year and have been subscribed for all of that time.
Today my dog passed away. His name was Cloud. He was an Australian Shepherd and we had him for 7 years. We found out very recently that he had been battling cancer and that his chances of survival were slim to none. We loved him too much to prolong any kind of suffering and had him peacefully pass in our home. Even still, he managed to move close to us and smile all throughout his final days.
It's been a very hard few days for me and my family and I'm still really sad to see him gone. I'm normally very shy when it comes to online platforms so I don't post comments or watch the streams. But I felt it was necessary to feel a little less alone and I really wanted to post to give my thanks to you guys. Thank you to Frost for his great content and commentating, to Andrew for his hard work editing these videos and even if they weren't in today's video, the chat and the community surrounding them. Thank you again, guys. Stay awesome.
As someone who had to put down a dog after a little less than 2 years of having him (not for aggression, just health issues), I feel for you. Don’t be afraid to take some time and grieve well, it’s a hard thing to go through

Footwork isn't that good without energy either, unless you've got Deflects or Escape Plans. Apo is also basically just Footwork but better.
The vibe of these offline videos are so much more chill, not something I would want all the time but definitely a welcome change of pace. Love the videos.

Y'know, this was a really fun video. I know you've expressed your discouragement with this one (on steam/VOD), but it's pretty good, imo.
I kinda like these failed runs. Especially when you go over why they failed and where. It's nice seeing everything go great and pog; but like, I feel I learn so much about the pitfalls in these characters.
If I remember correctly, the "Every Relic" mod lets you pick up to two relics to bounce between. So what if you do Sneko Skull with the Funnel? That way, even if you get a bad start with poison cards, you still have a way to make the Skulls give you value every combat.
I love these kind of videos where you don’t have to deal with chat spamming deer or thermo nuclear facts. Just talking about your thought process, along with a bit of salt

Frost, I love your style, your personality, your jokes, your content-pilled content, but most importantly your honesty, your integrity, your willingness to strive for personal and professional improvement, and your earnest, sane humility and ability to actually be a kind human being, even though we as viewers can only sort of get a specific glimpse of it through the lens of parasocial relationships and fandom.
You are not oversharing, or at least I have never felt it so, quite on the contrary. You are doing a great job at being at the same time a comedian, an entertainer, an athlete (vidéo games are a sport after all!), and the caretaker of a quite wholesome online community, that is of course, regarding the last point, with the aid of your moderators and regulars. You are also a self employed business person for Neow's sake ! That is a lot, and you are, once again in my humble opinion, doing it very well.
I am thankful for what you do, and even though I never ever mustered the courage to see you live on stream (it will happen soon though I promise), I dare say WE as your community are thankful for what you provide us, on a daily basis none the less :o

I meeean it definitely helped in some of the act 1 fights, which is why you take it.

FrostPrime is definitely the most unique of the streamers. His streams are full of memes, variations on the game, mod, and challenges. He is less about the classic slay the spire anymore, instead you'll come to discover what happens when every relic is tingsha, or if every card is a claw. He has a really good editor and for this reason I think that his streams are actually better watched on TH-cam.
In a run like this, energy is at a premium. So basically any form of energy is top tier. Tactician, Outmaneuver, and most importantly Concentrates to synergize with your acrobatics. Conc + Acro is basically the only way to reliably find and play wraith form without E relics.

Respect for the bowing out, doing that three times must have been emotionally exhausting. Probably more viable for the challenge to slide in the Specimen as a starting relic? But you still need to find poison so that would still be unpleasantly random.

You probably won’t see this comment but too many forget creators are more than entertainment. They are people with problems just like us but you spend your time making content that makes us feel better so thank you frost.

I know this may sound boring but every relic is lizard tail and I know that sounds GG EZ but that means you get almost 0 support from actual relics and are just super tanky meaning your deck has to be built incredibly well
Loving the content
Here are some ideas you can try (for content, of course):
Ironclad ft. Mark of Pain, trying to make it work.
Changes in spice: Start with medkit, play as the Silent/Defect, or make it every relic for a one-turn kill or die scenario.
Every relic is ceramic fish/mutagenic strength
Every relic is Warped Tongs and you have Searing Blow
Start with 5 combusts and 5 defends

Being honest here. This is the first video in a while I watched fully, because of your tc. Every ending has the pop ups and random noises. This was nice not to have the laser beam blast the ending.

I didn't even know you made offline content! Good stuff. I watched this one because it's short and I don't have much time atm (did you make it 22 minutes on purpose? ha). Watching the stream is of course way more time-consuming than watching YT so it's probably a good thing I can only catch you about once a week there -- and chat is fun and all but quite distracting, so even if I see a YT vid from a stream I watched, I still have to watch it. (well, that plus the Andrew edits, of course) I don't know how you can concentrate while also keeping up with chat's shenanigans!

I try to catch streams when I can, but I live in Asia, so most of the time you're on at like 3 AM local time, but I'm all about the TH-cam channel!

Honestly I think you may have been a bit better off with the outmaneuvers. Since you aren't getting energy from relics that is one of the only ways you're getting sufficient energy in a run like this. Chaining outmaneuvers is usually a good way to sustain energy giving you +2 energy per turn you are able to chain them, so if you have enough card draw and outmaneuvers you may be able to make do.

Also, I prefer your TH-cam content because Andrew edits are top, but really it's just how I prefer to consume content personally. I can pause whenever I need to or quickly rewind. I do enjoy the insane hive mind that twitch chat can be, though, and I like how you interact with your chat.

I think you would really enjoy Vault of the Void with its challenge coins.
The classes have similarities to most of the other deck builders, but it has its own quirks I that make it worth your time. Could even be a good edition to the god gamer gauntlet.

YESrelic = able to take multiple cards per card reward || Jess' Bottle = +1 energy, can't skip card rewards
PS, these two relics do not play well together except on modded classes where EVERY card is always good
How about peglin but the only orbs you can have are pumpkin orbs, and you start with the pumpkin pie relic and gambling chip relics
