    I agree with connor smith, a telehandler with a bucket would help you stack snow with ease compared to what a bobcat or front end loader can do. I would be happy to show you a demonstration of such equipment over here in Plymouth, MN... let me know when you are going to show up.

    During winter I don't even try to correct my sleep schedule after a snow storm anymore, I sleep when I'm tired in between storms and adjust my sleep as needed for thr upcoming storm, in-between snow storms i work in my shop which is attached to my house, if its 3am and I'm awake most likely I'm in the shop doing stuff, if I feel the need to sleep at noon and having nothing to do other than maintenance I sleep during the day, but I have given up on trying to keep a normal sleep schedule during the winter, I have found that I've become more productive using this system as oddly as that may sound.

    Nice skid turn at the start - get it right ON ICE AND SNOW and it puts less wear on the machine and is MUCH quicker than a multi-point turn.
    If it makes you feel better, the same weather patterns and climate change that is giving you that snow is giving much of the rest of world record high temperatures and 'unseasonally' warm weather :-)
    Sometimes I really miss snow in the winter, but somehow watching your videos lessens that ;-)

  • @plowkingf15
    @plowkingf15 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    We have to run chains on our loader and road grader or they are useless in snow. We are in mud season now and roads are posted with weight restrictions until May.

  • @connorsmith713
    @connorsmith713 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    you should get a telehandler. A Genie 5519 shooting boom with a bucket attachment would allow you to extend the boom and stack snow 20 feet high, or a bigger machine could get even higher. They have a very long reach too which would allow you to place snow in areas previously inaccessible by standard equipment like over fences or anywhere you cant get to with a skid steer or payloader.

    That loader doesn't look like it can push worth a buck you get into a little pile of snow and it slows down to half a mile an hour it may be cheap but you get what you pay for

    • @jay90374

    • @Drew-in-NoDak
      @Drew-in-NoDak 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@jay90374 but evening other videos where they have the challenge of the one big snow Pusher against all the other pieces of equipment if that payloader could push like it should be able to it would have easily outworked another set of equipment.
      I guess me being a farmer and getting used to hearing an engine log down on you pushing hard with it just makes me think that something is wrong with it that it never laborers the engine at all.
      A 5000/6000 series John Deere tractor with a loader on it without work that thing every day of the week, would be more comfortable to drive and would be easy to road at a nice 26 miles an hour.

    • @Ezrider359
      @Ezrider359 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      its lack of traction not lack of power, also snow that has already been plowed once is hard and compacted. traction is a function of the tires and the weight of the machine. has nothing to do with the loader being a good loader or not. if your driving a car on a icy road and you press the gas and the tires spin and the car doesn't go anywhere will having more power fix that problem?

    • @Drew-in-NoDak
      @Drew-in-NoDak 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mind you this tractor does not have a loader so it can't stack snow as high but you get the point you would be able to plow a foot of snow at 20 miles an hour no problems not that you would want to go that fast but it sure as hell beats half a mile an hour

      @@Drew-in-NoDak big difference between moving old compacted snow and new snow, also you don't want to drive fast in a small parking lot stacking snow, good way to damage equipment or have accidents. your comparing apples to oranges.
