Love this! I already do steps 1 and 2, I have the task lists broken down small enough to get regular dopamine hits. What I've been missing are steps 3 and 4. I am going to generate the positive reinforcements and most importantly every time I get a dopamine hit, it's going on the proof it's happening list! Thanks so much for this training and the Notion template!!
Thank you so much for this template! I just duplicated it to my Notion. I love the idea of having a plan of action. This is going to be so helpful!!! 🎊🥲👏🏽
what!! this is actually really underrated how is your channel not blowing up right now?? this was really helpful and satisfying to follow aaaahhhh here's to a more conscious, intentional and productive 2024 for meeee
This is the best vision board training I have ever had in my entire life!! I just paused the video and hit the subscribe button because I don't wanna miss any future videos of yours. Thank you so much, Sarah! ❤😇
Really thorough video and very concise. I didn't want to watch another video about this, but my set up wasn't working. I'm glad I watched this and downloaded the template. I think what you created is really great. Thank you.
Okay so this is VERY helpful but I have a problem. Most of my goals for 2024 is making something into a habit (e.g. studying everyday, going on a daily walks) and I don't know how to make them a specific goal. Maybe I just shouldn't ? I could also make a habit tracker and focus on my habits there. What do you think? Also thank you so much for the video
Unpopular opinion: Conscious habits don't exist. Yes, unconscious habits exist, like biting your nails or turning off a light when you leave a room. But studying, walking, isn't a habit. I know, because I wrote a blog every day for 730 days in a row, and never ONCE did I just wake up and my hands hit the keyboard and type the words out. The actual habit was the beliefs I built, to make it easier for me to follow through on the goal. The problem with habits is you can't ever achieve them, so it's just constant pressure that your brain knows will never be relieved. So turn them into a goal: e.g. "walk around the block every day for a week" or "studying for 2 hours every afternoon for 30 days". Your brain knows there's an end point, and it's a clear achievement each time you do it. It's finite. Here's my five step formula for being consistent with a goal: 1. Set a daily action 2. Set an endpoint (not forever) 3. Create an easy, minimum version for low energy days (so you still do it even when you're tired, busy or sick) 4. Plan what to THINK when you don’t feel like doing it (be prepared for this, you will experience resistance!) 5. Don’t go to bed until it’s done. Let me know your thoughts :) And thanks so much for the kind words!
Hola Sarah, I just came across this video and it was exactly what I needed to build my 2024 VB. Thank you so much for making it. I love the template and I have 1 question: I worked on the first step and established all the things I want to accomplish this year with regards to finances, health, business etc. however when I go to step 2 which is selecting 3 main goals, I struggled keeping it simple. How do you manage to set only 3 goals from your 8 listed Vision Board? What do I do for example with "Living Space & Environment" which is not within my 3 main goals but it's still a goal? Thank you so much.
Hey Jose, so glad it helped you! I resonate with what you're saying because I love setting dozens of goals at once. Here's what I find works best for me: I recommend you choose 3 main goals that take priority. You can still work on the other goals - but know that if you are pressed for time or energy, the top 3 always take priority. Does that make sense? Another thing that helps me to clarify what might sabotage another goal is asking myself: are these goals competing for the same time, space and energy? As in, I know I can easily achieve a big business goal AND a big health goal, because they don't occupy the same space in my day. I can focus on eating really well on my lunch breaks, and it won't affect whether or not I get my work done. But if I set two business goals, it might be harder. So I don't want to have 10 business goals. Hope that helps!
So it's like, Dreams/Desires = Vision board, Goals = Planning, Project Schedule = Month/Weekly Tasks, and Daily To do list/ Execution via calender right. Please let me know, if I'm missing something!
Hey, sorry to hear! Can you specifically share where the challenge is? Did you receive the email and the button doesn't work for you? Or did the email never arrive? Thanks :)
