In this tutorial, we have a simple routed network wherein we want to centrally locate our PPPoE server in the provider side. Of course, there are other better solutions, but this tutorial shows how can make use of EoIP tunnel to meet our objective with our PPPoE service to our clients.
The video demonstrates the following:
1. Verify IP addresses on physical and loopback interface
2. Verify OSPF on all participating routers
3. Verify PPPoE configuration.
4. Configure EoIP tunnel.
5. Configure PPPoE client.
6. Verify PPPoE connection and internet connectivity.
A quick look of RouterOS v7 as well - IP address, PPPoE server, IP routes, OSPF configuration, and EoIP tunnel.
