    Demonstrating the Ezyloader box grabbing mechanism. Very simple drop fingers which fall and hold into the box handles

    Very good demonstration, Ian. I will not part with our EZYloader until the day I die. Thank you for taking the time to produce your excellent presentations!

    Ian, if the metal flapper that drops into the hand hold is too long, can it pierce the box side when the weight of the box comes down on the flapper? You can see this at 1:34-36 into the video

      Deeptime I guess it definitely could
      I’ve yet to have that happen, and I’m typically lifting up to 5 full deeps so the pressure is high on that point.

    Price? I was unable to find the price on the manufacturer website. It is not really suited for me in Romania but I am curios. Thanks and good luck. Good videos!

    So I've been considering building one myself. The only thing that I'm incapable of doing is the hydraulics. How effective would this machine be if it didn't level itself?

      Matt Winstead I was thinking of the build too and it needs to level some how or you would have to fight the runaway all the time. The truck will sag also unless out rigged but that may not be too much to deal with. I plan on doing a manual leveling system with big turnbuckles.

    • @aCanadianBeekeepersBlog
      @aCanadianBeekeepersBlog  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Matt Winstead levelling is important,
      Build in a simple tripod system as this, and have a switch in hand to manually level as you need
      Otherwise you are fighting the load all day

      This may work on a ruck sack for a beginning small operation? An alternative to busting your back while you save up for a loader.

    Hey, really enjoy watching your channel, over here in Scotland. Just a quick question, if you don't mind me asking. What is the price of the ezyloader or are there schematic for Making your own? I'm a very very small migratory beekeeper and run double box hives 12 frames per box. I'm planning to increase hive numbers and go part time commercial, looking at all options at the moment. Keep up the good work!!
