Great video - has gotten me started understanding this new concept. My challenge is I have routes that have several segments with attributes that change along the segments, however I'd like to linear reference them and develop linear event tables (from each segment) as well as display station values from the distance along route instead of distance along the segment. Would love to get you many coffees if you can help me out with this.

Hi drew, thanks for watching and for the comment. Would it be possible to send me some sample data? You can find my email at burdgis.com/contact

And from what you've described would it be feasible to make a dummy route by merging segments and creating point events using that?

What about intersected Point? it gives me as an error. (Duplicate Point). Is it possible to choose Start and End point both? Thx for video.

Thanks GIS, did you work this out? I'm not sure what you mean exactly by the above question.

OK but what about some spatial operations? Line on line overlay, recalibrate, union, multiple lines, detect lines to flip, locate points. It's not complete enough, but a good start.

Thanks Kim, do you mean the video is not complete enough? Or the tools I'm demonstrating?
