What a cute brand. They really went the extra mile with the packaging and making the contents match the name. Thanks for including an update on how long the wash and go held up. I always wonder when you’re trying a new product. Also I’m glad that you’re a learning channel. It makes me feel better about asking questions here. I’m going through the same thing with skin care and have been binging on TH-cam dermatologist but afraid to ask questions that others might think are obvious. I think people forget that we all start out the same way with knowledge...in the beginning we all know nothing. 😉💕
I got the 🍊 marmalade gel and oil, really liked it! However, I found it was best to store the gel in the refrigerator to keep it from spoiling and having a sour smell.
What I love about your channel is the fact that we are ALL learning together and you never claimed to be experts. I feel like you are taking one for the team when it comes to testing products and techniques. Thanks for all you do for the MAD Team!
I recently purchased everything except for the edge control. I tried it all today. I used VERY little of the Hot Sauce directly on my scalp only as a prepoo and scalp treatment to treat itchiness I left it in for a few hours before I washed. I used the Peppermint Schnapps to wash my hair, the Moringa Tea Rinse, then the Protein Shake treatment for about 10-15 minutes, the Banana Creme Deep Conditioner with a heat cap for 30 minutes, and then the Orange Marmalade. My hair looks great and my scalp feels amazing. I'm so glad I found this brand!

Love the results!💕💗 My hair had been shedding intensely and I did the alphogee treatment and it worked. I was scared because my hair I thought was protein sensitive like Tayloranne but it worked. I have significant less shedding. Also, just my opinion I don't think Lorianne's hair would always grow out and Tayloranne your hair grow down. I think long hair pulls the curls downward from the weight of the hair. I can't wait to try this brand!
Hi there, I love your videos! Very thorough. I tried all the Ecoslay products about a year ago. I have medium length, mature silver, wavy, dry & fine hair. I know that all products don't work for everyone and there was just one that I continue to buy and it's the Banana Cream DC. The smell and the texture are so yummy, and you need to keep it in the fridge. It is truly natural and food grade, and if it gets in my eyes there is absolutely no burning. I use it as a daily conditioner, slathering it on dry hair to sit for a bit, then shower and rinse. Shampooing only every 4th day or so, which is a totally new concept for me. Thank you for teaching me how to care for my waves!

I’m so glad you guys were able to try the gel!!! I usually use the kinky curly knot today leave in underneath for slip and moisture. I know you guys didn’t find that leave in particularly spectacular so maybe try another lighter leave in that you know is really moisturizing for you!
So as far as the shedding: This may not at all be the main problem for you guys but it might be something that is making it worse. When I switched from detangling with my fingers to my brush in the shower, I noticed that I had a lot less knots. I feel like detangling with a brush really makes sure to get all shed hair out so that they don’t tangle with other hair during the days of your wash and go. You might be already doing this, but I just wanted to pass this info along!

This is exactly what my hair has been doing, but all over my head. The postpartum shedding is just knotting in my hair. Maybe I should give myself a quick cut and see if that helps anything. Then I can leave the bun life and get back to these wash and goes. Your results are beautiful 😍

Hey Tay, I know you been kinda struggling with the shedding of your hair, I wanted to suggest the mane choice. They always cater to shedding hair. I think one of their newer line is specifically for shedding....maybe the peach 🍑 line???? I can’t remember 🤣

i've used that gel like a yr ago and lemme tell u, aint no scrunching out the crunch or bigger hair on day 2,3,4,9,10 lol that gel gives super crunchy hold and it doesn't loosen. or at least it didn't for me and my friend. if u like super defined curls and no volume and strong hold, this is the gel for you.
That has been my experience as well. For me, adding a good leave-in in underneath like the JC Curls To Go helps a bit

@@llebron71 i always use a leave in, i'm definitely not a "one and done" girl lol but yeah, it was still super crunchy. I used it with the camille rose curl milk, and again with the camille rose hydrating honey.

They have a matcha protein treatment now that I got because I have damage too (due to devacurl), and I love it. Maybe that would help your damaged areas if you’re still having that issue.

Tay I have felt for a long time that your hair really needs a protein treatment. A real one, not the weak deep conditioner ones. Something like aphogee.
The alphogee 2 step saved my curls..!!

Do you ladies ever brush your hair through after applying treatments, conditioners, stylers? Or if you've chosen not to, how come? Personally, I use raking and praying method and then i brush thru my hair so that the product is evenly spread everywhere.I use less product that way and (for me, I like the clumped curls more that comes with using the brush as opposed to the stringy looking curls for me) but you could just rake again after brushing for non clumped curls.
Here's a new one for you guys to do. Products that gives you amazing day one hair. Don't think you've done that yet.
