They will be cared for by mom. People will check on them, but will only actively intervene if the cubs won't grow as they should for some reason

This is the maternity den - it's supposed to be small and dark, as tigers keep their cubs in such places to conceal them from predators

    poor slave tigers.
facing the next 20 years inside a tiny cage.
what miserable lives they will be.
all this suffering only to enrich a few zoo owners.

Relax, the tigers at the St. Louis Zoo are given 1/3 of an acre for roaming. And they can't really be considered slaves, given the fact that perform no tasks.

@@johnconway6976 "perform no tasks". How would you like to live a life where you literally get to do nothing?
Tigers roam a territory the size of a small city in the beautiful jungle, defending it against rivals, hunting prey with its bare paws, fighting for mates, and raising young to be apex predators.
What an AWESOME life that is.
If you had any courage, that's exactly the life that you would want to live.
It's better to kill the tiger than to keep it inside a cage. The tiger is not a coward.
It's a slave because it lives inside a cage, deprived of freedom, and is entirely owned and dependent on its owners.
      Its task is to entertain.
What part of that don't you get?

While I don't enjoy or support zoo's, they have a purpose in this case, the Amur tiger is endangered (because of humans) and the birth of these 3 cubs is a beneficial event for the species.

@@znilf84would you give birth to a child that will exist only inside a cage for its entire life? No you wouldn't. Better not to exist than to exist inside a cage. Better to be extinct than to exist inside a cage.
Zoo tigers do not benefit tiger species. They benefit your own selfish entertainment, admit it.
These tigers will never contribute to populations in the wild. And they don't need to.
Wild Siberian tiger population is expected to rebound on its own to 50,000 by 2050. And we have experts working on this. Zoos have nothing to do with this.

@@bigcatpublicsafetyact3080 it is beneficial for the species, despite what you may or may not think. Your aggressive approach is embarrassing actually.
