In preparation for Manchester Pride in August I thought I’d take you on a tour of the iconic and world famous Canal Street / Gay Village.
Its famous for the iconic tv series Queer as Folk that was aired at the end of the 90s and was ground breaking at the time.

Omg how much canal street has changed. You made me😂😂😂 when you said back in day mind you it is about 43 years since we went used love people watching in a nice way 😑 having kids to a stop to late nights 🙈 we were made very welome noone looked as if to say you shouldn't be here its not just a place for gays hope can say that 🤔 everything is so pc... Xx

Hanged so much since I last visited. I was 35 last time I was there. I’m now 50. lol many of fun times.

Awww thank you that’s really kind of you. We would say G-A-Y for a good dance. On bar is really good for the tunes too. New York New York is so camp it’s amazing! You can’t really go wrong. And I’m the morning you must go to pollen for cake it’s just off canal street at kampus.Thank you for subscribing that really does mean the world to us. ancoats and the northern quarter is gay central and really friendly. Lots of dogs 🐕 🐶 🐩 there the most trendy part of the city.

You must to go pollen for food. Velvet bar on canal street for music and vibes. Shopping - northern quarter or spiningfields
