Pollacks transformation w/ the Irish is refreshing. He was honest over the years when they didn’t have it and he was vocal about it. Unlike others that refuse to state the obvious. Most analysts don’t believe their eyes and hold onto preconceived notions formulated in the Kelly era. Week after week they nitpick any stat that will fit the anti Irish agenda. Put these kids in an SEC uniform and those same analysts would be riding them straight to the ship! It’s not rocket science the scores say it all! Look at the teams all these guys ride. Compare common opponents, common opponents each team played and the outcomes and that’ll give you an pretty good idea of what they’re capable of doing. Louisville played Kentucky who played SEC teams. Georgia tech played Georgia . ND beat A&M, what teams did A$M play? ND beat USC, and what teams did USC play. …..That’s your best guide to how ND will match up with these teams.

Refs completely screwed Tech. Completely. The late turnover was targeting plain and simple and if it’s not targeting then there is no such thing. The PI call inside the red zone that gifted GA a TD when its putrid offense was unable to score. I could go on and on. Refs kept GA in this game so they could win.
Still laughing at the SEC, Arkansas losing to 3 win Oklahoma St, Auburn at home losing to Cal😂😂😂😂Bama not scoring a TD vs Oklahoma, LSU losing to USC plenty to laugh at, I wasn’t going to mention Georgia St for crying out loud beating an SEC squad….theres plenty to laugh at 😂😂😂😂
@ Man I was just talking about last week. 😂 But I see the SEC have some serious haters out here. I guess that’s what you get when you win the championship 16 times out of the last 24. That is very funny 😁
One thing is certain, opponents playing SC at the end of the year are playing their best game of the year. Mizzou looked like a totally different team at Columbia and did everything to win but lost due to some amazing late game heroics by Rocket Sanders n Company. Same goes for Clemson. Where has that Klubnik been all year? Where has that Clemson OLine and Defense been all year? They balled out but again, some late game-winning heroics by SC’s young QB was the difference. If Sellers was a race horse they would be right to check him for drugs. He was flat out running through tacklers, shrugging them off. Unbelievable performance.
Ohio State can't play offense very well right now.. Drawing Tennessee would be an instant death sentence in the playoffs because we are good enough on D to completely shut them down while our offense is finally clicking on all cylinders..We are like that march madness team with a dominant defense , elite bigs and a three point shooter who just got hot. You don't want Tennessee as your first game.
We don't have that block with Bama or Fla, we got to get Ga out of out of the way. They come to NEYLAND next season. Going to be so loud yall can hear it
Day was wound so tight to the point of delusional about life and family that it permeated his team, they played tight and not to lose. No one on that sideline looked they enjoyed just playing the game
Ohio had 60mins to fight on the field and they chose to get tough once the game ended… you would think after 4 years of losing they would have learned how to
Yes 3rd and 6 was big.... but rewatch second half. 2 sustained offensive drives that chewed up time (one was INT, other winning FG). The rest wasn't "handed to" Michigan. Talking to my buckeye friends that's what gave them ptsd.... watching us just control their d-line in second half for 4th year.
I like Notre Dame, but they basically get a free bye week because they don't play in a conference and won't have to play in a conference championship game. They will also get a favorable opponent because of their seeding in the playoffs bracket.
There isn't a scenario, where Michigan wins it outright! Ohio State has an incredible roster of players, but they can't win in the trenches and Howard is not a game breaker! Ryan Day's reaction after the game, while his team decided that the time to fight Michigan, is after the game was over! Not a good look, but he has never been a good look, well the beard coloring is perfect! 1-4 against thier #1 rival, has to be debilitating!
It did boggle my mind when portal season was in full swing and we took Will Howard who was not even going to start this year at Kansas, while not even trying to go after anyone else, wasn't even one of the teams that tried for Cam Ward. Someone's judgement was inaccurate to say the least. Kyle had a knock that he didn't have a strong arm on big throws, Howard can barely throw down the field at this point. He is atrocious in the clutch when it comes to a game winning drive. If they're going to make a run in the playoffs, they are going to need to make sure that they are not in any one score games where its on him to bring it down and win it.
I’m with you on Notre Dame. They’re going to have the easiest path to the championship. The only thing that can change that is if Penn State upsets Oregon in a close game. That may push them down to six because I don’t see Oregon dropping more than two or three spots with a close loss.
Michigan was missing a few of their best players so what the hell are you talking about? Talking about how the buckeyes had injuries? Lmaooo righttt 😂😂😂
Ohio St doesn't have a Michigan problem, Ryan Day does. Day's record when the talent is equal is bad. Michigan, bowl games, playoff games. I like Ryan as a person, but the Ohio St job isn't for everyone. All the great OSU coaches: Paul Brown, Woody, Tress, Urban grew up in Ohio. They understood it, what it means to the people of the state, and how to deal with the pressure of what the game is and isn't. I think both Day and Ohio St need a fresh start. Do it before the playoff. I think Day could flourish in a place where maybe the pressure isn't so extreme.
Amazing when Coach Day was asked about the Chaos Fight between his players and Michigan players his answer was what are you talking about had zero idea says it all!!!😂😅
If Georgia loses in the SEC championship against the team they previously beat, wouldn't there be an argument that that 9 and 3 Georgia team should be left out? I'm looking at the SEC championship as more of a playoff starter here. Specifically, I wonder if the committee would put a thriving South Carolina team with six straight wins over Georgia, which had just lost to a team they had previously beaten.
The fact that you can not beat a ranked team all year and still have a chance to make the CFP is flat wrong. Teams may as well leave the SEC and go to the ACC or Big12 and rack up wins since SOS doesn’t matter.
It seems odd to me that the media promotes “hate” while talking about up coming rival games. Then seem surprised when players attempt to plant their flag on their rivals field and a riot breaks out? “It shouldn’t happen” But it sure is fun to watch?
Texas ran Wisner up the middle 436 times and that’s really all they had. UGA defense is not only better than A&M but we’ve got some key players back from injury that Texas didn’t see. With Ewers not being a dual threat, UGA defense will dominate again and the offense has playing way better since that game. Beck turns those 3 INT’s the first go round into points, UGA blows this game out of the water. Especially in a dome in ATL
Wow. Probably the first time I've heard anyone give UM credit the past few years. Most have had nothing but excuses- "sign-stealing," cold weather (which makes absolutely no sense), the flu, the Sun was in their eyes, the dog did it, etc. UM's been tougher lately. OSU has loaded up on flashy skill players. UM has loaded up on tough, gritty players. 47-1 in any conference is very good, yes, but the B1G hasn't been that tough until this year. Penn State can't beat OSU or UM. Indiana couldn't beat UM until they had a down year, and they still can't beat OSU. Wisconsin couldn't beat either team even when they were good. Who else has there been recently, at least consistently? They weren't the SEC. Day is good, but he's no Urban Meyer. He seems like a good guy. He and his family don't deserve the crap they're getting. Unfortunately, that's the nature of the rivalry.
Can't expect anything less from a former Bulldog, and please elaborate on how the fumble between Klubnic & Mafa was a "Bad" call??? It was abundantly clear neither Klubnic nor Mafa secured possession from the time it was snapped. A Real example of an Agregis call was the Pass to Campbell in the back of the end zone being called incomplete.
They will put Bama in at 9-3 over a 10-2 Miami team, but in Week 11 they placed Georgia at #12, and out of the playoffs after losing to #16 Ole Miss. The logic is inconsistent and the committee. They want to cite how much your record matters and how much the W-L column matters but I guarantee you they throw all that out the window and keep Miami out and put Bama in.
While Texas did have a great game, I think it was less of Texas showing out and more of A&M offense not showing up. All things considered, A&Ms defense and special teams played well and practically kept them in the game. I think the defense just got so gassed from having to consistently go back out on the field after that abysmal offensive play calling from A&Ms oc. I really think if the offense plays even have as well as the defense played, A&M stomps Texas.
Buckeye implosion was predictable, its no surprise..Who the hell thought it to be a good decision to choose the Kansas St QB and pay him big money? I mean what did they think was going to happen? What did they see in him? Unbelievable..As Texas fan , i was confused to say the least..Same type of ignorance with OU...Who the hell made the decision to let Gabriel walk? And pay Arnold, then throw him to the wolves..lol .OU ruined 2 quarterbacks...lol
Dan Jackson, the Georgia corner that forced the fumble by Haynes King after he had ran for a 1st down that likely salts the game away for Tech, should’ve been ejected for targeting on that play resulting in Tech retaining possession and getting 15 more yards. Jackson led with the crown of his helmet and hit King directly in the upper chest/neck area. That’s targeting. The fact that it wasn’t even reviewed, especially with 2 minutes left, is terrible. Also the pass interference against Georgia Tech when UGA was down 20-6 and 4th and goal from the 4, shouldn’t have been a PI. If a ball is deflected than it negates pass interference. That ball was absolutely tipped before it got to the receiver. That play is also reviewable and has been reviewed several times. Absolutely ridiculous that the officials didn’t even review that call. College football will review the most senseless, minute things and waste several minutes doing it but won’t review potentially game deciding plays late in the game. Either be consistent or use the NFL rules where the coaches have to challenge and only get a certain amount of challenges per game.
Ohio St loss 2 games by a total of 4pts, they’ve allowed more than 18pts one time and that was to Oregon. The issue they have is once again a limited QB and this Chip Kelly offense looks nothing like the Chip Kelly of old. If Ohio St doesn’t make the Natty, Day is probably gone the big question is who’s a worthy replacement… I don’t see NFL coaches coming down to college to deal with the NIL stuff and year round recruiting. So what current college HC is a sure fire upgrade? Ohio St probably won’t do it but I’d start in conf and call Jonathan Smith give him those resources and that talent that’s what Ohio St needs
Unless Urban Myer is coming back there isn't a better option. Chip Kelly became an OC for a reason so he's not it. Unfortunately for Day, Michigan winning a championship but him on Natty or bust mode.
GO IRISH! They played a pretty poor game by their standards lately, particularly on defense. But even then, ESPECIALLY when you consider how other teams were handling their rivalry matchups, I'll take a 14 point win over USC AT the Coliseum where ND almost always plays bad (and they did today, just not as bad as they have at times). Notre Dame is the ONLY team that USC did not have a lead on in the 4th quarter AND they're the only team to hand USC a double digit loss. GO IRISH!
@Superhunan it's a good win when other teams handled their bad rivals worse. Ohio State lost to a bad Michigan team and Georgia needed 8 overtimes to beat a GT team ND dominated in regulation 🤣🤣
Coaches who succeed at these blue blood programs that consistently have top 5-10 recruiting classes and really expect to be in the playoff (even when it was only 4 teams) at least biannually have this certain swag. They have the “it” factor. Nick Saban had it. Urban Meyer had it. Kirby Smart has it. Jim Harbaugh had it. Bobby Bowden had it. The only coach I’ve seen with prolonged success who I felt never really had “it” is Dabo Swinney. He was just a goofy looking 40 year old guy who was Clemson’s WR coach who was promoted to be interim coach after Tommy Bowden was fired. He only went 4-3, including a bowl game loss, while being the interim coach. Clemson really only interviewed him as a formality. They had no real intention of hiring Dabo to be the HC. But something happened during that interview. Dabo used that same goofy grin and southern charm to convince Clemson to hire a 40 year old WRs coach, who had never even been a coordinator, to hire him as their head coach. Again, Dabo is charming and he obviously knows how to sell people on a vision while being incredibly likable and relatable. But it just feels like he doesn’t have that dog in him. Like those coaches that almost hate losing more than they hate winning. Dabo Swinney doesn’t like the transfer portal. While all the blue bloods and powerhouse programs are raiding the transfer portal using a massive NIL payroll to poach studs from smaller schools with less exposure who can’t match their NIL prowess, Dabo has refused to use the portal. In fact, I think Dabo just last winter got a transfer trough the portal. It’s something they’ve avoided and it’s a glaring weakness. It’s obviously why Clemson has gone from being in the same breath as Bama and Georgia to an afterthought. I wrote a book on Dabo Swinney but the original point of my tweet was that ever since Ryan Day was hired as Urban Meyer’s replacement to become Ohio State head coach, I’ve never felt like Ryan Day would have major success. Ohio State had one of the most heartbreaking losses in CFB postseason history when they blew a big lead vs Georgia and lost a game they should have won after being up big late. If Ohio State wins that game they likely win a natty, as Georgia went on to absolutely obliterate a undermanned TCU team. But 1-4 vs Michigan is unacceptable. Not with the talent that OSU has. Not with the NIL funds. Unless OSU advances to the NC game, I think Ryan Day is done and although his record has been incredible, OSU has so many advantages and has so much backing in terms of NIL that anything less than a chip every few years and a 60-65 winning percentage vs Michigan is unacceptable.
@ absolutely. What he’s done at Clemson is incredible and I pointed that out. I just don’t think he has that dog, that thing that the other coaches I mentioned on this list. Dabo has obviously used his other skills to overcome that and it’s impressive. My whole point was that Day doesn’t have that nor does he have the charm and likability, which Dabo used to build an absolute juggernaut. Off the top of my head the only other college football coach I can think of that doesn’t have that “it” factor is Pete Carroll. That’s another guy who had a lot of charm and was incredibly likable. That helped him recruit at the highest level and turn USC into a monster. The allegations and suspensions against him and USC were something that all these blue blood programs do, USC just got caught while the others have the system down to a tee.
David says Georgia probably didn’t deserve to win, I disagree, anytime you come back on a team 17 points down, you deserve to win, could be said, Tech probably deserved to lose, allowing a team to come back and beat you after you have that kind of a lead.

Heya fellas! Terrific work! I would think this committee also looks into the average point differential in wins or losses.
They are gonna drop Miami to 11 and guarantee the ACC two teams even though the ACC is 2-7 against the SEC this year.
The pundits claimed that expanded playoffs would ruin the regular season…hahahaha. I was right again! 🧐
Ridiculous that Ohio State has the easiest path with playing ASU, then Boise. They should have to play Georgia, Tennessee or Texas
Ohio has the same mental block with Michigan that Tennessee had with Flordia.

Ohio State and Miami get the same “bye week” now though…
As a ND fan I don’t want a five seed. Give me a 6th seed and an SEC at home in the cold
ND literally can’t get a home game cuz they don’t win a conference so there’s that
@@wes2473you don’t pay very close attention do you. ND is basically guaranteed a home game. What they don’t get is a bye. So there is that.

I’m with you on Notre Dame. They’re going to have the easiest path to the championship. The only thing that can change that is if Penn State upsets Oregon in a close game. That may push them down to six because I don’t see Oregon dropping more than two or three spots with a close loss.
If Ohio State fires Ryan day they will be very sorry. Schoold do not recover very often for years after firing a coach.

Great last half of the season, great win against Clempson.
Best wins, Bad losses and where game played should matter
Dana White coming on here to guest host is crazy
Haha! I guess that’s a compliment 😃?
Yeah, I can't think of OS and Mich and not think of Bama and UGA. It's a mental thing.

Think you need some Oregon-Washington discussion in a "hate week" upload.
Texas looks good. Can uga beat them twice? And could they play 3 times!
They scored zero points in the 2nd half
Texas didn't look good really a and isn't that good
Georgia wasn't looking good either. Looks more like a toss-up game.
@@RevolutionMatt Both teams are even with the rest of the field except Indiana and SMU they are doomed
Cold weather play n it had effects on qb Howard
That was targeting on Jackson, come on guys.
Day was born on 3rd base and is now on 2nd.
28:13 Georgia vs Georgia Tech discussion
Go Blue!!
If the ACC gets 2 teams in? The SEC only gets 3. Esp if they put UNLV in? IMO if 3 loss Clemson wins? The ACC deserves only 1
Thought that was Dana white and almost left immediately.
Nobody cares.
At some point Notre Dame will be in the top 4, yet won't get a bye. Will it drive them to the Big or, (if still existing) the ACC
The days of the truly great college football teams is over. Team depth is gone.
🧡🍊🧡🍊🧡🍊🧡🍊GO VOLS
ND should be forced to join a conference, its so wrong they are not in one
While Texas did have a great game, I think it was less of Texas showing out and more of A&M offense not showing up. All things considered, A&Ms defense and special teams played well and practically kept them in the game. I think the defense just got so gassed from having to consistently go back out on the field after that abysmal offensive play calling from A&Ms oc. I really think if the offense plays even have as well as the defense played, A&M stomps Texas.
The offense played bad because Texas defense shut them down.
Texas beat that Michigan team in Michigan lol
"...lol..."? That's funny? Why?
So did Oregon.
Give ND the 6th seed and a home game against Bama ☘️
Buckeye implosion was predictable, its no surprise..Who the hell thought it to be a good decision to choose the Kansas St QB and pay him big money? I mean what did they think was going to happen? What did they see in him? Unbelievable..As Texas fan , i was confused to say the least..Same type of ignorance with OU...Who the hell made the decision to let Gabriel walk? And pay Arnold, then throw him to the wolves..lol
.OU ruined 2 quarterbacks...lol
On paper, upset of the century!
Man, “Hate Week” is such an awful yet accurate title.
You don’t know football. You don’t know the rules. You don’t understand anything. Do better.
Ohio St loss 2 games by a total of 4pts, they’ve allowed more than 18pts one time and that was to Oregon.
The issue they have is once again a limited QB and this Chip Kelly offense looks nothing like the Chip Kelly of old.
If Ohio St doesn’t make the Natty, Day is probably gone the big question is who’s a worthy replacement…
I don’t see NFL coaches coming down to college to deal with the NIL stuff and year round recruiting.
GO IRISH!
Try all you like, it wasn’t a quality win. USC sucks bro.
@@Superhunan Try? I don't have to try anything. Notre Dame is FIRMLY in the Playoffs. UMAD? lol.
@ mad ? lol. I certainly don’t care enough for that. Who said they weren’t in the playoffs ? Pretending USC was a quality win is hilarious.
@Superhunan it's a good win when other teams handled their bad rivals worse. Ohio State lost to a bad Michigan team and Georgia needed 8 overtimes to beat a GT team ND dominated in regulation 🤣🤣
@ lol, a GT team with their backup qb. You can’t be taken seriously. Best of luck.
All the talk over the last 365 and they were shutout in the second half.
Dabo beat Nick in a national championship game.
Love to see Pallock irritated because Michigan won, he hates Michigan
Come'on give Ryan a break, he still licking his wounds!..GO BLUE!!
