    As always, your tutorial is great Gayle! I really like the tip about getting the thread under a foot with no slot. No more trying to get the thread through the small opening on the foot! Thanks so much!! Pam

    I purchased the 480 and went to a class on it. It was great for the basics, but your videos are icing on the cake! The classes helped me become comfortable using the machine, and your videos gave me the push to experiment beyond the basics. Thank you so much.

    Thanks so much for the comparison of these machines.
    I have decided after seeing this tutorial the 475q is the machine that best suits my dressmaking needs. I don’t use decorative stitching and the narrower stitch area will be more practical especially when using lightweight fabric. I am so glad you highlighted the differences.

    Gayle, thank you so much for taking the time to create this video! So helpful. It's great to learn new things my machine can do! Love your passion, and I LOVE the face mask with the symbols on it!

    Yep! I have been needing to use my 790 plus, but I actually love my 170 artista with free motion

    Hi ! I just bought Bernina 480 and when I got home I found out there is Bernina 480 SE with embroidery module - can I exchange it for my B480 for 480 SE ? Thank you

    Interesting information. What table are you using? Please.

      This was a cheapy craft table from Wayfair. They were horrible. We threw them out and replaced with Horn Sewing Cabinets.

    On a 9mm machine, is the 97 foot you mentioned the 97D? Thanks, Gayle!

      The 97D foot is for use with dual feed which is available on machines B 570 and up. The 97 regular would be for use with 9mm machines like the B 480, 180, 185, 200, 730

    Gayle, with the 480 and using a 5mm foot which stitch plate would you use ?

    • @BERNINAofNaperville
      @BERNINAofNaperville  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The 9mm is fine, but BERNINA does make a 5.5mm plate for the B 480 if you need to be fastidious

    How does the 9mm perform on knit fabrics

    • @BERNINAofNaperville
      @BERNINAofNaperville  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It honestly depends on the knit. With any wide or decorative stitch stabilizer is required.
