She's surgical with her passing, finds shot opportunities that others don't, and goes from 0 to sprint in the blink of an eye. If I didn't know any better, I would have thought this was a video of Messi with a wig. She may play midfield, but that's just because she's an all around asset like Messi, and the USWNT already has a bunch of dedicated showboats, I mean... strikers.
@@jazzynotjeff yea you don’t see players like lavelle in America often… that’s why I think it’s critical that the USWNT coach integrates Ashley Sanchez into the team. She reminds me of a young rose lavelle.

Footwork, game/location awareness, control. One of the best midfielders I've ever seen. She has her skillset, and she's obviously dangerous. I'd class Rose as a Hybrid Midfielder/Striker.
Best Midfielder I've ever seen? Julie Ernst. Just a LION at midfield. Big. Strong. Leader. Not a hybrid though. Just a dominating force of control at Mids.
Rose doesn't dominate like Julie did, but Rose is a potentially uncontrolled force at midfield that needs to be defended against. This woman can score at a moment's notice. I wish her a great career.
LOVE her footwork! A genuine midfield control/dancer that's a legit danger to strike. She will, obviously, get better as time goes on.
USWNT Hall of Fame? We'll see. She looks promising so far.
