    what is the difference between the words nimi and nimeni(i think they both mean name)??

      Nimi = name
      Nimeni = my name
      adding 'ni' to the end of the word means 'my'
      but it is mostly used in books, not in spoken language

      So could I say "äiti on suomalainen" instead of "äitini on suomalainen"?
