The 600 models had an extended leather package which meant everything was covered in real leather, same with the S-Class of the time. I'm pretty sure it was standard, but I could be wrong, every one of them I've seen has had it though.
@@1Reddd Great info. Any idea if the previous S-Class model (W126) came with a factory extended leather package? I have not seen a W126 with a leather wrapped dashboard and door cards etc.
@@beastoftherivernile Some AMG models of the W126 had more leather and even extra wood as well as custom AMG leather seats (Recaro CSE) with massaging functions but that was done by AMG and not Mercedes, so normal W126 won't have it. I think it was optional too, so even some AMGs don't. I want to say they probably started doing the extra leather and stitching on the W140 through Mercedes proper and is still even an option to this day on higher spec'd cars.
Ppl are so obsessed with these old Mercedes cars. But in public I only see modern Mercedes drivers
C'mon you gotta find somewere to berry that speedo
Is the interior leather upholstery stock or aftermarket?
This interior is stock upholstery.
