from what I've gathered from this tutorial, you need two yards/meter in total.
1) use one meter for the bottom (front and back piece)
(cut the one meter piece in half length wise. use one half for the front. The other half, you cut in half width wise for the back
2) use one meter for the top (waist band and wrap)

I love the second way you wrapped the dress, could you do a tutorial showing some of the more different ways to wrap this dress. a number of the tutorials online show the sabre straps over and over.

iris kahunde Hi i think you take about 1.5 meters of fabric for the bottom skirt.Then the other half is for the wrap sides.Also your waist band can come from the bottom part

Measure you around your chest/bust add 4 to 5 inches seam allowance and divide that number by 2, that should give the right measurements
