    Great video - thanks you because I feel like I needed someone to give me permission to pare down my schedule… my 2nd grader is very behind in reading, writing and math and I feel like this message is exactly what I needed to hear!

    I need this! Thanks for the encouragement! There are so many good extras we find our family involved in. It is so easy to get overwhelmed.
    I need to find a healthy balance for those activities and the core essentials that we have to have. It's not easy to do but it's going to be worth it!
    I like to think saying no should be thought of as saying yes to something more important.
    Also I would like to not be so busy but more focused on what is really important. This so hard sometimes when there are so many fun distractions that our families like to be involved in.
    I like how you said give yourself a time to rest. Meaning that we might say no for a season and not saying no for ever.
    This video was very encouraging! Thanks for sharing! I am going to go look at my calendar and try and prioritize to make things easier for us to do the essentials!
