Finding your video was no mistake at all. I'm seriously ready to cry. I've know I wanted to doula for years now, leaning more toward pregnancy loss support. I'd somehow never encountered anything about an End of Life doula but I've never resonated with something so much. Thank you!
I've been thinking for a while that death doula is calling to me. I don't think I'm quite ready for it yet but it's something I definitely see in my future. I'm 28 and I've been contemplating death a lot. I've come to believe that death is not something to fear. I would love to help people have beautiful deaths. When I read about deaths like those of Lou Reed I think that's the perfect kind of death. Every person should have a beautiful exit.
This is God's grace I was able to find your channel and your website I wanted to be a birthing doula but I've always been fascinated about and with the death process, I'm signing up for your course and I will attend your retreat in March. Thank you God i needed to know my next move in life for 2024
I absolutely just love this woman! You can tell she is really passionate about what she does. I’ve soaked up so much insight into this work and thank you personally for making this video because through my own experience feel like I’ve been called to do this work. I look forward to signing up to your training ✨😊
I used to be a fanatical Christian didnt know how else to practice christianity..i was always afraid of sinning or being outside of 'gods will'(some christians would blame me for feeling this way) but was just how i experienced christianity and there was the teaching of judgement, hell and giving account to god. It was an experience that had good moments but left me with the feeling of fear and anxiety. Institutional Christianity has left me ultimately fearing hell. I have my own spiritual beliefs now but I will never share them with another human for it to be contaminated. Some of my family members are Christians and judging by some of the things theyve said in recent years, i wouldn't want them at my death bed. I want to leave this world in peace . I have struggled with anxiety for years and at the end of my life I want to leave with no fear or anxiety at all. I hope I can offer this to others who have had similar experiences to mine.
Wow. Unspeakably articulate and profound! What a beautiful human you are! Thank YOU for sharing all of your hard sought after knowledge! I'm 3 years late watching this..but I'm on board girl! I have had alot of death in the lives of those near to me and almost 2 years ago, my most devastating loss of my youngest child at 22. This loss has broken my heart open in ways I know nothing else could have. But now I can truly see how it is through the" broken places that the light shines through" ~ Rumi I plan on using this pain, and the depth of its beauty to help myself and others on this journey towards death. I truly want to help inspire the world to view death as not the enemy, but as our friend, awaiting our embrace in the life to come. Thank you for helping to light the way!!!✨💙
Wow, getting a super intense download at 5 am night of the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse.. I am a hereditary medium and RMT, I've overcome many traumatic experiences and lucky to be alive myself. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and time ❤
Fantastic video. You're incredible! Thank you so much. Recently felt a calling to change my whole life & while I knew I wanted to volunteer with hospice and consider end of life work, I wasn't sure what a future/work would even look like. I only just discovered death midwifery & instantly became excited to see that what my desire to do actually had a name. You have further inspired me. So grateful to have found this!
Thank you so much for making this broadcast available to those who weren't able to watch it live. Watching you all the way from France as I am considering a career change. I was always interested in the way our society approaches death, and as death positive as I try to be, it is a relief to hear from someone that it IS okay to find it hard. I lost my grandfather a few months ago and that's really made me re-considering a career in the end of Life Industry. I cannot thank enough the people who have been there, every step of the way, helping my family through it. It is a beautiful line of work, really, even though it is frowned upon within our society. Thank you so much for your helpful pieces of advice!
This comes a few years late, but I think along the same lines, maybe. My wife died of aggressive cancer and her death made me think about the way handle death in modern, western societies. I live in a Nordic country and we have made a complete volte face about death during the last hundred years. In the 1920´s death was still handled by the relatives of the deceased who washed and prepared their own relatives. They made the coffins themselves, took a horse and cart and took the dead person to the Graveyard by themselves, but now we barely see the dead! Not even the cars that take them away from the hospital where they died.
"Tiffany Booth" I think it is great you are making a career change that you want to do. However I don't know about the age requirements for becoming a doula.
Alua, Peace to you. A series of events have brought me to your page and this TH-cam video. All I can say is I am very grateful. You are such a beneficial presence, steeped in your purpose with such courage, insight and compassion. Thank You So Much
I have no idea why TH-cam suggested your videos but I'm sure glad they did.... You're absolutely amazing. I've been dealing with depression for the past few weeks, I want you to know that I am glad I found your videos.
Thank you - this video was so informative and I appreciated hearing your story and what led you to this sacred work. A colleague of mine is taking your online training right now and is finding it extremely valuable. Wishing you all the best!
2018 to 2020, I lost 14 Love ones in 25 months. My life had been catapulted into an abyss of unprecedented uncertainty. My siblings and children were not prepared for such an enormous amount of steady sorrow. The pandemic began as we attempted to absorb our incomprehensible agony. We held onto our faith while relying on each other. I had no idea that a "Death Doula", existed. I think the title should change to a Family Doula. People would be more apt to seeking one . Also, more people may be more inclined in becoming a Doula. I' was pursuing becoming a Chaplian but it seems that I'm being led to become a Death Doula.
Hi. How did you find your financial planning class. I’m having a hard time finding one in my area. Was it online? May I have the link if it was? Thanks.
I am also a death doula. Im in South West Louisiana. I am mostly bed side. But im looking for people lile myself. Its so hard to find people like myself..
I used to be a certified nurse aide and you know finish my pre basic nursing for LVN. I also have a medical office diploma. I want to know do doula do more of a sitter job or is some nurse aide duties involved?
I want to be a death doula. I want to do this. I am a licensed massage therapist. I am a reiki master. I'm about to start volunteering at a hospice care facility. Other than that I don't know where to begin. But helping people transition is what I want to do. Where we differ is that you do a lot of practical end of life services. I don't have as much experience in that, I just want to support them in their process and provide healing Arts to promote comfort while they transition. Is that something people would be willing to pay for?
I'm 21 and currently in law school and currently fixated and curious about my own morality..... WE ARE GOING TO DIE, and how do you come to peace with that when you don't know what you believe in or what's real /right?

Forget institutional Christianity. Just follow Jesus. Jesus has conquered sin and death and hell for us. Christ has opened Paradise!

Hi ☮️
I'm 21 and currently in law school and currently fixated and curious about my own morality..... WE ARE GOING TO DIE, and how do you come to peace with that when you don't know what you believe in or what's real /right?
LOL “nobody came”
You're still cute!🤣😊
Could you get to the point
Girl
Ur qualified for sure. But is this a documentary about you or about being a death dula?
The excessive jewelry is honestly distracting.
