I think R'Bonney is quite possibly the strongest US representative since Olivia Jordan. Of course every winner has their own thing that makes them special, but what makes R'bonney special happens to be the fact that she is more of the captain of her own ship - in terms of her preparations alone, she is very hands on and it's rare to have someone who operates like a Catriona at least in terms of her plan of attack. She seems to be a strong-willed candidate who won't just allow herself to be fully commandeered by the organization.
Hence why and how she won Miss Universe 2022 👑
I definitely think the girls were coached. Their performances were very one dimensional - it lacked energy and personal authenticity. I think that the girls were stripped from their individuality in sense.

First priority for climate change...i believe her answer is relatable... First priority starts at home, influence each household to recycle... I dont think big companies will pay attention to an ordinary resident to use sustainble material.. not even Government can mandate big companies to recycle.... So R bonney's answer is realistic and attainable.
Indeed. Rbonney could have gone "crazy" with campaigning for these companies to be more sustainable but let's be honest, even governments can't even do that.

Jovani is a national sponsors and each state winner was given a certain amount towards a Jovani gown, but they could wear whatever they wanted. Your two favorite gowns, NC and MN were both Gaspar Cruz gowns

"Tiaras and a RING POP!" OMG! That was hilarious! I haven't seen those things in YEARS, but I never forgot them. Sis you had me HOWLING with that line. Neighborhood kids used to love the ring pops. We would have had a cow trying to get one. So hilarious!
Btw, all of the girls' gowns weren't Jovani. Ex: North Carolina (with the beautiful orange gown) & Texas (Filipino designer - Rian Fernandez did her gown)..I can't remember the others, but there were multiple girls who didn't wear Jovani for their gown selection.
New Mexico also had the same gown designer as Texas. There should be others as well. Jovani offerred some discount if you wear his gown.
Maybe jovani hire them as designers for the miss usa. Its like an organization of designers lead by jovani you know.
This is correct. NCs gown is by Gaspar Cruz. However Jovani literally stole that same dress design and concept, and that may be a reason NC didn’t win because of Jovani stealing that gown by Gaspar Cruz with no credit

QandA: I totally disagree with your thoughts on Texas’s answer. The rest of the candidates are giving promises like they will paved way, or they think its ethical, or even saying whats their stand on a certain topic, they are not wrong but in case of Texas who is experiencing and doing it,already making a difference, she already made actions to the topic and the fact that she even relate with her job on it makes it more credible! I think that’s a winner!
Nah, Sovereign was right. Her answer was very cookie cutter in a topic really complex and complicated. It shows she’s not smart enough to give a good answer when she gives the most basic non inspiring speech. Texas isn’t a great speaker. You’re just playing favorites.
@@shawnmiranda8521 it's easy for us to judge a contestants answer because simply we're not on their shoes. had you been the contestant herself, i doubt if you were able to answer any of the questions thrown at the girls. it's not always how correct the answer is, it's how you deliver and confident your bearing/demeanor is.
Nebraskas wordings are great but sge answers like a stone. I mean, speaking with conviction is something that cant be learned.
@@allanis_the_great and she still delivered it poorly. She had no inspiration in the way she spoke and her words weren’t coherent and you can tell her voice was shaking a little. Nebraska had inspiration and emphasis in her voice and gave the best answer.

I really hated the fact that they went straight from top 16 to top 10. It was not fair to the girls! They placed but never got to show their skills
It was 16 to 12 which is even more disrespectful to the 4 girls who for a millisecond thought they were semifinalists but didn't get a chance to compete/perform - I mean you can include 12 in the swimsuit but not an extra 4 - and maybe then do the cut? So pointless.

Illinois’s question was one that didn’t require an answer with depth. All she had to include in her answer is the magic word “inclusivity” to make it sound good. There was no exploration of the arguments for or against age limits. So if you expected Texas’ answer to have more depth, Illinois’ answer should have had more as well.

I disagree with you on texas answer. Fast fashion is horrible for the environment not just the mass production but they are thrown away all the time. She related it back to herself and said this is the impact I have on the environment and I want others to do the same. Fast fashion corps need to be replaced with more sustainable designers
I agree with you. Texas didn’t mention on this q&a however on her interviews, she mentions about fashion/textiles are second highest pollutant globally.
havent you watched the whole Miss USA 2022 pageant. the things that thrown will ne recycled and reuse thats what Rbonney was saying.
So then she should've went after corporations like shein who are one of the largest polluters not only in the fashion industry but in the world. Then, she could've related it to her own career by saying that because of the negative effects of fast industry, she strives to be sustainable with every piece that she creates, and that she will continue to raise awareness about the harms of fast fashion. Cuz at the end of the day, it's really not as simple adding a recycle bin to our house. Not when 10% of global emissions are from the fashion industry. Be real, adding eco-friendly alternatives to our little businesses does nothing when compared to these corporations. Don't get me wrong, we should still do these things, but it wasn't a good answer. I loved her but she gave the same cookie cutter answer as everyone else, the only difference is she mentioned own career.

YES Davonna!! Your reaction to the non-reaction was no overreaction. Why o why did they rush through the crowning and barely give the girls, let alone the audience, time to get excited? This was probably the biggest what-not-to-do of the night for Crystle (or whoever will be in charge) to consider next time around.

I heard some pageant observers were against the stairs cuz the girls struggled walking down them. But c'mon, you're competing for the national title; the winner is going to Universe 👑💫 Other pageant countries are gonna eat up those stairs like they're nothing 👠
It's not about stairs per se, it's about how badly spaced and constructed those stairs were. They said someone fell down during rehearsals as well. And it's also the reason why the contestants were told not to rush down during crowning ceremony.

And btw Jovani is not sponsoring all the gowns. The girls still got to wear their own designers like last year.
Jiovani didn't supply all the gowns during EG. I know for a fact that Texas was wearing a gown designed by a Filipino. I think the Jovani designs were the opening number ones.

And before this video, she actually made a separate reaction video about the Miss USA scandal that exploded like a day or 2 after the coronation night. So needless to say, there’s just no way that she didn’t know the results prior to this...
